Week 4: Heartbreak and Hope 🍍💔 The sight that greeted me today was devastating. Snails. Everywhere. They'd turned my once vibrant pineapple into a skeleton of its former self. I could barely bring myself to take a single photo, the sight was just too painful. Fueled by anger and determination, I launched Operation Snail Removal. Every half hour, armed with a flashlight and a bucket, I combed the raised bed and surrounding area. By the time darkness fell, I'd collected a horrifying 19 snails from her bed alone. Ugh. The next night, thankfully, was snail-free. I can only hope that the damage is done and my pineapple warrior can rally from this. I believe in her strength, her resilience. She's got to pull through.

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. Seguimos utilizando los mismos productos que la semana pasada, solo que esta vez aumentando el EC a 1,2. Hoy 26 de febrero lavamos las raíces. Yo creo que tal vez estaban con un bloqueo de nutrientes, no se ve como si estuvieran sobre fertilzidas porque creo que las hojas estarían más de un color verde oscuro y duras, como cuando parecen casi de plásticos. Ahora las hojas están como caídas, con esas puntas amarillas, lo cual me preocupa. Espero que con el lavado de raíces vaya mejor. No hemos podido controlar bien la temperatura y ha llegado a 26 durante algunas horas, podría la temperatura causar este efecto en las plantas? Gracias por leer y cualquier concejo es bienvenido 💚

Super bien, están creciendo con mucho vigor. La alimentación se mantiene igual. No he tenido ningún contratiempo. Armario completamente cubierto. Cambiamos el ciclo de luz a 12-12. 👌

On day 15, I defoliated the girls. The girls are growing up like crazy, they have already doubled their height. Everything is going well, I'll probably have to do supercroping in the following days ...

Day 45 The flowering stretch is settling down and some surprisingly good looking buds forming. I really didn't know what to expect using just the 100w miracle LED from Easygrow EU. The two Sweet and Sour are looking a little different one taller and sour grape smelling pheno and a smaller thicker pheno that's sweet grape. Happy with both so far. Both are now producing resin . The Blackberry gum is just about the biggest plant in the tent , not frosting up yet so will let you know how that smells next week. The cheesy is looking really lunch and dark green she has just had half a scoop of Greenhouse feed bio grow so far, I will add a full scoop of Biobloom this week. She is a little behind the rest as my fantasmo did not pop. The SNS girls and BGum have both had another 10g of bio bloom each , this was top dressed and mixed into the soil.

Flowering nice. Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center Silver Kush are two up front. I ran out of room for scrogging branches in back, letting them just strech. Unfortunately that has me keeping the light higher than Id like. Since S.K. are shorter, the one at right side is 30" from light, while stretched branches in back are 12" from light. Averaging 18" overall from lights.... Hope i dont get light bleaching! UPDATE: Added 2nd screen on Day2 to keep stretchy branches lower Cookies are flowering nice, one of the silver kush is just starting to flower while the other hasn't started yet.... hmmm 2-3 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Hi people! Everyone knows that growing requires patience from the grower! otherwise nothing good will come of it .. and in this case my patience is at the limit)) but I hold on .. I'll tell you why ..)) I'm used to growing my plants using lst topping defoliation and all possible training methods .. (as you can see by reviewing my diaries ..) well, I was planning to do the same on this girl .. at the age of 3 weeks I did Topping .. well, I was planning further LST and all that .. but it is so beautiful that it will grow, grow round and turn into a beautiful round fluffy bush that I felt sorry to touch her and interfere with her natural beauty .. so I got patience and decided not to touch it at all until completion ..) hands itch to cut off at least a leaf! there are a lot of branches with flowers inside)) I just imagine her in buds in a few weeks) and it takes my breath away from understanding how beautiful she will look ..

Wow she doubled her height this week. Grew 9cm! Got loads bushier too. She was repotted too into her 10 litre fabric pot forever home.

Looking stunning and have so far remain short and stocky. Did plenty of defoliation and will scrog them for fat colas. Flipped the switch and week 1 flower is in the books.
