Legal Little Runt

DL_Jagger Started 3 Royal Runtz auto seeds in rock wool cubes but only 2 germinated. Decided to plant both in the large Earthbox pot.

DL_Jagger This past week has seen the most growth so far. The stem is much thicker and side nodes have put out branches at each bract.

DL_Jagger Growth has exploded this past week and small flower buds forming at stem and branches.

DL_Jagger I fertilized plant last week by pouring about 1.5 gallons of fertilizer tea into the Earth Box reservoir. I made the tea by steeping 1 cup of composted organic matter with 4 tablespoons of Gaia Bloom powder in a mesh bag and added 3 tablespoons of worm castings liquid a few teaspoons of black strap syrup to a bucket of water I had let sit for 2 days prior. Today I refilled reservoir with regular water. Next fill back to tea with the Bloom fertilizer nutes. BUT. Plant is at almost 40” H already and my light is at it’s darned highest

DL_Jagger Had to put on automatic watering system while away. Nightly temps outside getting into low 40’s a few nights, 50 deg most. Hopefully inside it’s 5-10 deg higher.

DL_Jagger We had several nights in the grow space below 45-50 and others low 60’s. Was not home to use supplemental heat.

DL_Jagger Started to add more nutes after 12 days of plain water. Added Gaia Bloom with liquified worm castings.

DL_Jagger As temperatures drop I am using 400 watts of supplemental electric heat occasionally otherwise I noticed the plants water uptake significantly slowed and so did bud ripening.
