in this past week I have defoliated the plants about 40% I have lost some leaves which have turned yellow I think the plants lack nitrogen due to the stretch the buds started to smell good. for nitrogen I add coffee grounds to keep away the pests and it is rich in nitrogen. the hardest part is fighting the humidity it’s been raining for a week 😭 humidity is the worst enemy I much prefer heat. see you soon

still growing fast as fuck. i was falling more and more in love with her as time passed. she was showing signs of hunger so i gave her, her first feed of veg nutes on december 5th 2021. I mixed 1/2 tsp to each gallon. I used a bucket with 3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water. Decmber 8th: same amount of veg to gallons of water with the same 1/2 tsp. phd to 6.4. December 10th gave her a feed honestly dont know how much. id say about 10-20 cups worth of dechlorinated tap water with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons.

I started germination of 2 Critical purple kush beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some Background information on my experience with CPK. I've ran this strain a good dozen times. It's a very short, robust, and branchy variety. Packs on fat dense colas with immaculate bud structre and trichome production. It's a fairly fast finisher and packs a real potent stoned. She gets very sexy purple highlights and hues. Some phenos more purple than others but I've always got color. She doesn't mind lst, and some good training work greatly increases yeilds. I've ran her inside and out and all times of the year. She seems to strive and flourish in any environment. Just give her that light and watch her grow! She packs a very signature kush pallet and she always has a spot in my rotation! Seedsman knocked it out the park with these genetics.

Veg veg veg boring...I twisted and pinched the 2 new tops from topping and tied down a few with some plant tie downs...they are already starting to put off a flowering scent not just that green chlorophyll scent a actual flowery pungent hue in the air lol

Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering. Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food. A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞

Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics. Days 35-37 Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing. Day 38-39 She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself. Day 40-42 Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days. Started training as the growth was too central and she needs some fattening at the base.

Everything dried in about 7 days and burped 3 times a day for 8 days 19mins at a time. Trust me the longer you wait the better it smells. Makes wonderful wax and rso.
