Day 3 of flower & these ladies are stretching great! We are having a bit of a calmag Deficiency right now but currently in the process of trying to fix it so hopefully they bounce back! The Gelato OG from seedsman is a monster to only be 42 days old not sure if I just got a good pheno or what happened but compared to the other gelato beside it from the same bag it looks like a completely different plant! Welcome to the first week of flowering in this run with BIG BLOCK by Cannabis Brothers. 7 days ago I took cuts and now I'm happy to show you the first shots of roots and also the amazing green canopy which I'm truly proud of. Each plant is marked as pheno 1, 2, 3, ...and here is a cut of pheno #9 showing the great success. Soon others will follow and then we will see after 3 weeks how many males or females we have and then we can have a first selection of potential keepers. For now I'd keep them all as they grow all equally good but time will tell how many ladies we actually have.

Week 11 Jan. 13 - Jan. 19, 2020 Jan. 15, 2020 CS #1 & #2 are coming along nicely. No amber trichomes but wow t the plants are frosty and they have a strong pungent smell. When thr main cola is bent a little sideways it really begins out the smell. The smell is like a gassy, diesel fuel, strong chemically smell. I love it. CS #3 is giving me some problems. The pics might show it. The leaf tips are curling up and thr leaf edges are turning brown. Not sure if I can correct this befor harvest. It's late into flower. I may just ride it out until then. I've topped dress once weekly for the last 4 weeks with kelp, and a blend from roots organic for bloom 4-6-3.

I love the sativa shaped nug-towers! When my plants grow big, I like to grow them until the very end of their cycle! That's why the extended flower period. So far I've had two plants pop out from the 8 seeds I threw in the soil (2-30 gallon pots). A ninth seed was germinated later in the season. These are seeds I obtained from the Grease Monkey OG clone I grew last year. I don't mind getting a few seeds from the bees pollinating my plants. I can't say how good that strain is; I recommend it to everyone. I'm happy to have some cross-pollinated offspring. The soil is mostly FFOF, Happy Frog, Roots Organics, some worm castings, worms and whatever has been living in the soil. I recycle my soil and just add more stuff when necessary. I'll try and keep updates this season.

1/17 - Day 62 / Day 35 Flower Pots felt dry so decided to give them about a half gallon of spring water each. This wasn't enough to induce runoff. Will save that for a bigger watering later this week. Nutrient issues continue to persist. **************************************************** 1/19 - Day 64/ Day 37 Flower - Feeding day Pots were feeling dry again. After about a week of laying off the nutrients following the flush, I gave them a feeding today with their watering. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have waited this long to re-introduce nutrients as some of the lag in recovery is probably due to the fact that I flushed all of the food. The feeding solution consisted of the following: - 1 gallon distilled water - 5ml of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - 10ml of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) Adjusted the solution to the following conditions before feeding: - pH: 6.5 - TDS: 303ppm - EC: .6 I gave each of the 5 gallon pots about a half gallon each of the solution, followed by enough spring water to induce runoff (approximately another half gallon). I tested the runoff for both of my 5 gallons and returned the following readings; Z51: - pH: 6.4 - TDS: 649ppm - EC: 1.3 Z52: - pH: 6.2 - TDS: 669ppm - EC: 1.3 I was encouraged that both plants are close to being within my ideal range and hopefully this means that they will start to show signs of recovery in the next week. **************************************************** 1/21 - Day 66 / Day 39 Flower I'm growing in an attic space and we've had a drop in temperature over the last couple days, my heating system was working overtime and more heat was rising into the space. I woke up today and the temp in my grow tent was registering in at 87F. I decided to play around with my temperature threshold on my fan controller, reducing the max heat threshold to 80 from 85. What I didn't account for was that I had a low humidity threshold of 30% (which I assumed meant that that fan would stop running if it hit this point). It turns out that my fan actually kicks ON when it hits that threshold... As a result. my fan was short cycling through the night where it would turn on when the heat exceeded 80 (causing humidity to decrease) then turn on again when it hit my low humidity threshold - creating wide swings in my temp and humidity. I'll tell you what, if I don't produce any viable bud this grow, I can honestly say I made up for the loss based on the education I've received. The nutrient deficiency issues are still present but don't appear to be getting worse. The leaves on my Z51 are pretty pale, it's clear they are starving for nitrogen but I am reluctant to try and address issue at this point. I'm planning 2 more light feedings over the next two weeks so hopefully this will be enough to get them to harvest. **************************************************** Day 1/22 - Day 67/Day 40 Flower My girls are really starting to frost up and the colas feel noticeable more dense by the day. I would have thought that the smell would have been stronger by now. Not sure if this is a consequence of my carbon filter doing such a good job or whether the buds are having developmental issues. When I get up close and smell the buds, I get a faint aroma but not the strong sweet and gassy smells that I've read about on other journals. I watered the 5 gallons today with a gallon of spring water each. My soil is not as airy as it once was and has started to cake up around the roots. I do my best to try and loosen up the dirt, usually to no avail. I was short for time so I didn't have a chance to test the runoff.

Flowering is really stunned in this very cold weather, still a fun thought seeing my plant still alive while all the tree already have lost their leaves. Today i chopped the remaining branches on my right maincola, the left will stay 1 to 3 more weeks, im gonna push that one with all the risk of every risk🤗 i wett trimmed the branches again and hanged them, after i took away the first drying batch from 10 days ago. I weighted that what was still hanging at 49 grams dry weight, adding up to a total of 64 grams so far... Im guessing the total amount of dry weight on this plant will be around 300 grams unfortunately... If this would have flowered lets say 1,5 month earlier( like it was fking expecter to do!!!) It would have made a kilo for sure

It was a week with a lot of activity. First of all, she had her first full week of flowering and did a bit of a stretch. Also I switched her to the left side of the tent, to space the plants more evenly. We are getting to a canopy, although one of her roommates probably is male and will be removed. More about this when I update my Xtrakushh Diary. Also had time to fit the scrognet. It fits way better than last grow, much tighter. We had some problems with the lighting. I probably hit my timer with one of my sausage fingers, making my lights turn on in the middle of the night, thank god I found it out in time. They maybe had an hour or two of light for one night. Still something she really doesn't need with this strains tendency to hermie under stress. She still looks happy. Did some gentle leaf tucking, some LST under the net, and a little defoliation. The branches might be short but they are very sturdy and should be able to carry large and heavy buds. And we had won the @Sweet_Seeds Halloween give-away and got to choose three of their legendary strains: Tropicanna Poison, Red Hot Cookies and Runtz XXL auto!! Thanks guys!!! Week 2 of flower 12-5 She is growing nicely. She got a good dose of microbes yesterday. 2k ml she got cal/mag 5ml per gal, Drops 1ml, dusting of yucca, Kelp 1/16th tsp, EM 1 1 ounce per gallon and 1/2 tsp recharge. Top dress is soon. She will only get water x2 waterings. Cheesecake pictures tomorrow. I think I even may have, underwatered Cheese HAHAHAHA No way! Me ..... Underwater.... Thats a first! Now I have it marked. LOL 😬 J/s EM1 is kinda lol Icky. And the bottle almost exploded on me 😂 Good stuff. 12-7 Good ol plain water ph 6.2 Watered around 2.5 liters took it well. Roots are coming out the bottoms of both bags. 💪 Almost looks like worms 🤣 I must be doin ok, I haven't had them jump out before. 💪 And on both. Not the other 2 🤣 yet? The buds on 3x are tiny. They need top dressed, but i dont think thats it. May be a slow budder?? Idk, we shall see. But I do see signs of hunger. Top dress next water 💪 Removed all leafs pointing in. Or most at least. Very happy with progress. Still no signs of over water/feeding yet. 😁🤘 12-10 Top dress both 2 tbs buildaflower, 1 tbs craftblend, 1/4 cup poo. 12-11 Just growin tall.

Week 7 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 43 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 44 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - Jan 18/21, Day 45 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 46 Veg - measured the girls today, GSCHB Is 12” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. - pulled two large fan leaves from her. They were just getting the way too much of lower branches light. Jan 20/21, Day 47 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 48 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 49 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on the side branching to come up higher closer to the tops next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week

Hey growmies, the Mimosa Orange Punch ladies are looking better by the day ✌️ The late bloomer is picking up speed and growing beautiful big buds. The other two plants already have massive colas and starting to color to nice purple pink shades.

Day 76 - 29/11/23 OG Kush has a bit more of a fade after flushing 7 days ago. Bud sizes have not changed, but trichomes definitely have! More cloudy than clear this week! More amber head too!! I flushed her with an extra 2L of water on 27/11/23. Nice fade going on with all the leaves!! Im making sure all trichomes are nice and ready before the chop. until then, ill just be adding 2-300ml of water just to stop her from wilting. we're almost there!!!
