Week six of flower, the 1/2 way point, I might have been a little heavy handed on the bloom nuites this week back to back heavy feedings has given me some burn edges on one of the plants. The pots are still heavy from this weeks feeding. I put them on drain trays to help dry them out a little faster as I do not want root rot or PM, They are starting to stack up and bulk up so Ime gonna just water this week and check the run off to see where the PPM is I bet its high, so I will chime in in a few days and tell you what's up. I have spoken.

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

So far all plants have been harvested. (3x Bubba Pupil, 1x purple wreck, 1x AK-47, 1x Godberry). The first bubba pupil and AK-47 were harvested a week and a half ago and now have been jarred for 1 week +/- a few days. All pictures are of the bubba pupil and AK. I will come back and update once the other plants have been trimmed. The first Bubba Pupil, which was the tallest of the 3 and most stretched out, yielded exactly 4.5 Oz dry weight. The smell is starting to get stronger after a week. It smells grapey but has a weird funk to it. It must be the “pupil” funk everyone talks about. This plant looked like it wasn’t going to yield much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lowers were dense and compact which contributed to a good amount of decent sized buds. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the yield and quality from this plant. The AK-47 seemed like it was going to be a heavier yielder, but it ended up only yielding 2.5 Oz dry. The main colas were far during flower and dense when dried, but this plant had little to no lower quality buds. Everything below the main canopy seemed like it was airy and not worth jarring up. This plant smells a little bit fruity, but I can’t really put my finger on it. Super dank smelling, not skunky, but it smells like it is going to be gaseous once it cures up a bit longer. The Godberry yielded a total of 3.25 Oz. She was the best smelling by far out of all of the girls in the tent. Super fruity and sticky as hell. The resin content on her was definitely the highest of them all. I will be back to update once the last 3 plants are trimmed and jarred for a final weight and overview.

Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. We are always using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic, we have only lowered the amount of grow in this topping phase for the reasons mentioned above. ---- Decide on the right soil and calculate your fertilizer sheet based on the soil on the official website. -- www.plagron.com Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy.. -------- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/11159-zamnesia-seeds-black-runtz.html Zamnesia Description // Black Runtz comes from a truly legendary genetic pool. Our breeders used three modern classics from the United States to create this strain: Zkittlez, Gelato, and Runtz. With 20% THC and flavors of grapes and berries, Zkittlez passed on her delicious flavors and relaxing effects. Gelato contributed to Black Runtz's immense flavor profile by passing on high concentrations of the terpenes limonene and humulene. Finally, Black Runtz inherited the high potency of the original Runtz, a strain with a respectable 21% THC. The end result of this 3-way cross is a strain with 55% indica genetics and 45% sativa. Black Runtz boasts rapid flowering times, high potency, and contrasting yet balanced terpenes that supports its delicious flavor profile. Day 36: "Hey everyone! Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. We're also going to get a pH test kit to make sure everything is balanced properly. Do you think this is a good idea? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Day 38: Hey everyone! Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. We increased the fertilizer dosage today, so the plants should start looking better in 4 to 5 days. 🌿 Thanks for all the support and suggestions Day 39: Hey everyone! Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿 We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly! Day 41: "Hey everyone! Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase. Excited to see how they continue to develop!"

Day 57. And Mimosas are real sl@ts ..... No doubts, they all time were most picky and stupid, but big, very big ... Only two from 3. Last one is the smallest plant from all first wave. Very strange . Smoothie's are nice, grow without big hiccups, maybe a bit of a runners, but all 3 looks very similar. Purple Punch - both small, the one in best light is giving me hope that I will chop her before holidays and will make some space for the guy who will be watering them during my offs. They are overfed a bit. So no feed all week. Just water. Two biggest Mimosa's will be transplanted into bigger pots, they drink a lot, dry too quick and are sad in my mind, so I will cheer them up with bigger pots this week. Still selective defoliation, some yo-yo, so ties and no spray anymore. Smell is getting stronger, but didn't bother to try one or other. Still nothing special or super smelly yet ... In the middle of the day Mimosa's finally happy, but before lights down - theirs leaves are down too. Overdrying them constantly too, can't wait to give them better house, that type of fight I hate. Day 60. All work done ! Huge work ! All girls were cleaned, defoliated and pots toped up with BioBizz Worm Castings. Both Mimosas got new bigger pots too. Happy Growing !!!

Welcome to my Black Jack..(After looking through my seeds and seen that my packaging for this strain. I've the normal Black Jack, not the FV) I seen this strain in the Sweet Seeds List when asked to pick. And it was a year ago. And I picked it from its pedigree and the fact I didn't do a FV of any kind, nor have I still. (I am actually doing their OG high prize pedigree strain. Even better. I've the Cream Cartmel FV as I got confused) She is a healthy girl in day 35 now. Really healthy. I Broke A few of her walls to bend it as it was all stacked up. (I've tons more pics of her progress hopefully I'll be able to pull up) But, as you can see. Her structure was mainly stacked so she was shaped and I let her nodes go hard as they do when HST'ed not for the fact to get big buds, as that's not when HST Is meant for only. Super cropping requires a lot of early hst. (Its simple you just fell a node by rolling it and bending it to fall where you plan to shape for a few days you need to make sure if sticks as if she's in any stages of rapid growth. She'll just grow straight back upwards Anyways. I've set her up nicely ill put her to flip soon.. After she pre flowers and does that full phase I'll HST and watch her few nodes explode. As she doesn't have a lot of foliage and I lollipopped a lot as you can see. Need to do plants with not a lot of mentinance as I've 21+ atm going. Every plant is healthy.. all at different stages and going according to plan actually an extra week ahead on 3 autos that have already moved into the fattening stage. FC 3000 is turned up to 100% and held at 40% away giving the autos 1000ish ppfd and allowing my whole tent to get more light. I've the light about 130cm up from the floor. Nutrient wise. Looks like a lot. Well if I were doing weeks. Power roots, pure zym are given once every 10 days or so. Alga Grow was stopped on day 30. I did give her she fish force only today. (Day 33 and 2 weeks ago) Terpinator will be applied in a few days and will be every 10 days or so until soft flush (water feeds for a wk, no run-off). ALL NUTRIENTS ARE EVEN DAYS APART AND ENZYMES AND POWER ROOTS ARE USED AS FOLLOW FEEDS. No ph'in as this is organic. TERPINATOR IS 6.4 WITH MY WATER AND I GAVE THAT TODAY 3 DAYS APART FROM HER LAST ORGANIC PRODUCT (As they hold a ph of 4 some are 9. But its organic and true organic soil doesn't need ph'in) only additives need to be brought in line with soil needs if using synthetic nutrients and should not be given near anything that may clash. Rule is if you're giving a different brand/type organic/synthetic don't put them in the same pot that will allow them to mix there ph's as synthetic nutrients require a set ph in soil where as true organics don't. Thanks to sweet seeds for giving me these seeds. Sorry it took so long to get to. Real hardy seeds. 1.3yrs old and they she looks great for a 33 day old lady.

Like my sisters in the box, I added Jungle Indabox PH Down nutrients to the girl to prevent soil acidification. The little girl grows beautifully, blooms are done everywhere. I continuously cut the leaves from the bottom. It just makes me happy. 😍

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It is nice to be able to just sit back and watch them on auto pilot.. :-) Tomorrow Water Change Day!! 5/27/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Flower (Day 114 overall) I admit it.. I had to defoliate a little bit.. I looked in while changing the water today and there were just a couple blatant offenders blocking the light from lower bud sites and those leaves they just had to go. Other than that I changed the water and this week is where I drop everything and start preparing them for this last phase of the grow. Loving a few of these buds they are starting to beef out very nicely. I added 36 gallons Mammoth Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil Root DRIP = 1Mil/Gal= 36Mil CalMag= .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil FloraMicro = 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FloraGro= 2.8Mil/Gal= 100Mil FLoraBloom= 4.6Mil/Gal= 166Mil LiquidKoolBloom= 2.5Mil/Gal= 90Mil TPS SIGNAL= 4.0Mil/Gal= 144Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil Water Temp= 70.1 Tent Temp= 76 Humidity =64 ** I have two dehumidifiers running on Ink bird controllers to try and keep the humidity down, In late in flower I like to keep the humidity above 45 but below 60. 5/28/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Flower (Day 115 overall) Opened the back of the tent today and boy did she need some defoliation love in the back. Other than that I took off a few little sucker buds trying to form. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. I am uploading footage of the reversing process for your viewing pleasure.

Week #4 of bloom , girls are all looking good , going to remove some of the shade leaf this week to open up the canopy and get some more light to the smaller bud sites , I dialed my feed schedule back to 3 times per 24 hrs , I haven’t seen any negative reactions to the adjusted feeding and it’s been a week since I made the changes ,
