Week 4: Continued Growth and Training Hello dear Weed friends, welcome to my fourth weekly report on my exciting grow with four different strains: Lemon Gelato, Orange Sherbert, Apple Fritter and Bruce Banner. This week I learned a lot and continued to care for and promote my plants. I took the following steps: I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to all plants to improve their shape and let more light reach the lower branches. I topped the Apple Fritter several times, as it grows the fastest . I hope that this will result in many thick buds. I topped the other three strains only on the main stem to allow them more side branches. The plants look good, even though I sometimes doubt whether I am doing everything right. But I am confident that they will be even stronger and more beautiful in 1-2 weeks. My next goal is to repot the plants in larger pots in 2 weeks and attach a net in the tent. This should help me distribute the plants evenly and use the space optimally. I also want to avoid having such a mess in the tent as last time. That made harvesting very difficult. Another highlight this week was buying a new lamp: the Lumatek 300 Watt Pro Edition. This lamp is simply fantastic! It has a great illumination, a high efficiency and a cool look. It looks like a UFO! I am very happy with this investment and gave my old lamp to my brother. So it stays in the family. I water my plants as needed with 1 liter of water each, to which I add 100 percent of the recommended fertilizer schedule. I use all options of the fertilizer, which you can read in the fertilizer directory. I would also like to show you my timelapse video that I have been making since the first week. The video shows you how my plants have changed from week to week. It is really impressive to see how they have grown. I will update the video every four weeks and show you the latest video. Manicura y cosecha para posteriormente secar y curar estas densas y rocosas flores bañadas en brillantes tricomas, fragancias dulces tipo torta cubren todo el ambiente y una pegajosa capa de resina me impide abrir mis tijeras con facilidad, realmente una sabrosa cosecha! Week 8 Flower My favourite part; Flush flush flusshhhhh 🚽🌊💦 This is the time where you will see the most swelling and ripening of the buds, and also it's winter colours in its leaves and possibly even flowers (strain dependent) as the plant cannibalizes itself of all of its stored nutrients. Many strains will fade into a bright yellow, but a lot of strains can turn to many stunning colours such as purple, orange, red or even black! Purpling can also occur on your flowers throughout flush, which only adds to it's bag appeal! I believe it's extremely important to include a flush period at the end of each cycle. I don't necessarily mean you have to flush copious amounts of water through them like I do, but the end goal is to have a cannibalised plant before harvesting, regardless of your system, methods or medium. Having a proper flush is what gives you the clean burning, smooth smoke in the end. If many nutrients are left in the flowers, it can create a hard black ash that can spark as you toke 💥😷 and would be quite toxic for you to smoke. I start by pouring just enough water through the pot to get a decent run off in the catch tray below. I then take a note of the ppm/EC and pH of that run off to see how she's doing, and then adjust the pH of the rest of the water to be flushed if required. This girl's run off was a little high, at approx 6.2-6.5pH so I adjusted the rest of the flush water to around 5.5-5.6pH. This should bring it back down a bit more, although it doesn't really matter so much later in flush as she's only feeding on herself anyway, not what is in her pot. Once adjusted, I pour around 30ltr through her pot to reduce the salt contents in the coco. I then take another reading of her last bit of run off in the catch tray and make a note. I find that flushing a large amount of water through the coco speeds up the process because it has taken away many more nutrients from the coco than with not doing so. This gives the plant no choice but to instantly start to cannabilize on the only nutrients available; it's own. Once they're fading fast I'll simply feed them enough for a decent run off as I know there's nothing left in the coco. The amount of buds on this girl is absolutely insane! She's a monster! She's swelling up but still getting taller, with her tallest cola almost touching the reflector now. I'm definitely glad I supported her! I'm going for a 3+ week flush as I can't take her any further with plants in veg waiting for spaces, so hopefully she'll ripen up! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Week five all the plants are doing great. They all grew think upwards of 10 inches this week. Had a little problem with leafhoppers bought me seed meal and name seed oil hopefully that will fix leap poppers problem. All the girls are doing a great fifth week in soil excited to see next week..

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

By end of week was watering every other day with about 300 ml/plant and adjusting PH to between 6.0-7.0. Turned on the SF-1000 QB this week.

Bis jetzt zeichnet sich ein süßess, zitroniges Aroma ab mit einem Hauch von Karamell. Leider gab es einen Thripsbefall, welcher jetzt gerade erst wieder am abklingen ist.

Apricot Auto has really started to throw the trikes and frost up! She’s gonna start putting on the chunk really soon. She’s smelling absolutely amazing and when you squeeze her your fingers will stick together🔥🔥.

7/29/24 week 8. Flipping is around the corner. I have to defoliate before the flip. I added recharge nutrient this week to help the ladies have a quick recovery. I'm only feeding recharge with a 3 gallon res fill. I usually fill up by at least 6 gallons. What are yalls experiences using recharge?

Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

It is currently very hot here and the plants are suffering. I´ve upped the silicone dose to help dealing with the heat. We start to see some great bud formations.

~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/1- Week Three of veg is here for the pair of 'Testers' from SSSC/Dutch Passion Seeds. Both 'Testers' continue to do exceptionally well despite temp's in the greenhouse reaching just over 90℉ at the peak of the day. Both continue to show great vigor, color and are both constantly 'praying'! 5/3- Watering both continues every 2-3 days depending on what the plants want. Both girls are looking like champs! 5/5- Today I watered both with 8oz. of well water, to which I added 1 tsp. of Uncle Willies Worm Tea Concentrate. 5/6- Well fam, the Third week of veg is in the rear view mirror for these two beautiful 'Testers' from SSSC and Dutch Passion. Unfortunately, I have to go out of state for 7-10 days because of a family emergency, so I won't have pic's for next week. I will have a family member looking after the plants in the greenhouse to make sure all survive until I return!
