4.08 Plants lolipopped. Ready to flower.

Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! Plant is darkend up a bit more and more hairs are truning darker. Seems to be ripening up sooner than expected. Smells great and frosty, love it. Seems to slowing down on drinking too. The humidity in the tent has dropped dramatically, can't say I mind. I have been watering a bit everyday and not waiting until the plant drys totaly out. Been giving nutrients every watering, seems to need it. Tomorrow I will give it a good soaking and leave it for a few days until I think it needs it. This may be the start of the flush. If I dont see any new hairs grow out in the next few days then its flush time for sure. Cheers

Thc bomb is coming towards the end soon. Trichromes are starting to turn, but still early. The bud is still putting on weight so likely will feed this week and reassess thru the week. Experiencing a few minor sign from giving a low dose of nitrogen. That is ok the plant has a lot of stored energy. Plus it is close to done. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since this pretty lady popped out of the ground and she's looking perfect with pistils popping out everywhere! Her 4g Gronest fabric pot was still heavy when lifted, and she looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check on her tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, she has two new shoots that are emerging and she continues looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! She's up to 9" =/- now and even though she's beginning to flower, she's continuing to stretch which I'm attributing to her having some Sativa dominate genetics in her....This girl has long legs! 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since she was planted in her amended medium and it's time to give the microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide her with all the macro and micro nutrients she needs so, yesterday she got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered her from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- She's been doing well getting watered every other day and yesterday she received 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. She's definitely a big girl and with her wide node spacing doesn't really require any defoliation, just some LST and watch her grow! She's maintaining great color, vigor and is progressing into flower nicely! Flowering Day 56: Howdy Growmies. Hope we are all growing abundant crops with hits like a mule. It is finally the final week for ripening on the #1 and #2 Mango creams. Both plants have started to show some amber trichromes under the microscope but only in very singular points at present. They will be fed with plain water in a few days time as they were fed their final feed of the shogun Dragon force yesterday. The week has been a great example of ripening with the majority of the pearly white pistils starting to go orange initially now turning a burnt orange colour. They both have a few white one still to turn and even a few newly released ones around so i think it will be a few more days at least #1 is a fair sized budded girl and her lowers are going to be a positive addition with no real larf to worry about.I did leave a fair amount of her leaves for the flowering so expect trimming to be the usual sentence.lol #2 has been my masterpiece throughout the grow of these girls amd she continues to impress to the end it seems. She is a very big lady and even after I tried to fim her , she bounced back and created that huge main cola... The sides are doing just as well as the main is and they alone will yield well. She has done her breeders proud @exoticseeds #4 at day 49 looks ready to rock already just like the # 3 that harvested at day 39. Her trichs have Amber's around but still a few clear so I won't pull her too early . I am more sure she is the same Phenotype as the #4 now she is looking so ready. very different looking to the other 2 too. Now comes the patience again with watching the trichromes daily. .be safe growmies.

Day 106. Pure water for both girls and heavy feed on friday. It will be last feed for FastDiesel. Girls are running fine and its so sad to leave them when they a such beuties ;) Day 108. I just fed them hard and left for 3 weeks almost. There will be no updates till then. Girls just flower, pray and bloom and i am very happy with that. Nothing to add. Strawberry would need a bit of LST, because her branches growed back to centre again, but i flattend the canopy for last time and now fingers crossed ;))) Tried Fim on Strawb girl, so very high atempt brough interesting double bud, we shall see is there any profit in such action, this type of FIM produces almost no split branching. Other parts recovered better from lower FIM and made Y form double little colas. Still think that 5 days after heavy training not enough before flower , i think 7-9 days for proper cola to develop. P.s. in Tangies harvest i showed how little nutes i used for all this grow.

Ultima semana!! Esperemos asi sea jaja Bueno el engorde es notorio, la resina ha aumentado y el olor cada vez mas fuerte. Comienza el lavado, a tratar de llegar a 0 EC en el corte. Esta genetica ha presentado 2 fenotipos, uno con pistilos mas largos, cogollo mas denso y mas verde. Asi mismo tiene un aroma a citrico con un toque muy dulce. El otro feno es mas puntiagudo, el cogollo es mas violeta, pistilos mas cortos y menos cantidad. En cuanto a resina van similares. Y el olor es mas ácido, con un toque fresco.

Everything is really going well this week not changing much at all just trying to keep an eye on the last few weeks

They getting more thirsty, I have to water every 3 days now instead of once a week. I got a nice 4x4 tent so they can have there own space. Thinking about grabbing some cuttings off them to to keep them going and might start a whole new run with them🔥 to be continued.....🤟🏾

Day 42-49 (June 11th - June 18th) (Day 43) I need to work on my early veg times. Things are just too slow in the seedling stage. Next round I will use a coco/Destiny blend for the better aeration and lower EC. Even with my indoor plants. I notice plants started in coco root way faster. Not just with weed either. All plants seem to like it better. Coco is far superior to peat imo. (Day 44) I’m pruning off the lower branches on my rooted blackberry clone. It’s cool to see it’s weird reveged structure. Lots of the fan leaves have trichomes on them. (Day 45) Something really weird is happening to Grapefruit #3. The leaves are browning and starting to gnarl. It could be an insect of some sort as it’s the only plant looking like that. (Day 47) It just hailed super badly and the leaves on some of the plants are pretty damaged. In my neighboring town the hail caused multimillions in damage so we got lucky here. I’m going to spray some method 1 pps prevention spray today to help keep pests at bay. I will try to do it in overcast or shade. I’m seeing what looks like thrip damage but there is no way they can survive the cold nights here. Dog shit in my yard is attracting flies which then land on plants spreading god knows what. (Day 48) Autos are still really stunted. I wasn’t able to find out how big they will get so I will just wait and see. I would guess they’re in their flowering stretch because their growth is unusually fast right now. I will probably just end up with 6-10 inch ornamental plants for autos. Definitely should have started them around mid summer in coco then transplanted. Time is of the essence with autos it seems. (Day 49) Photoperiod plants are looking really happy but growth is stunted from the cold and lack of light. I was hoping for bigger plants by now. A lot of growth can happen in 2 weeks so we’ll see. I’m definitely not transplanting on the 21st but the sooner I do it the better. The bbb clones are struggling hard to root but I can see new growth on them starting to push out. My clones are taking a really long time to establish. Every plant here, I don’t care how stunted, must be flipped by July 15th.

12/3 Week 10 Brandy being harvested in the AM Layla and Maggie got a PK 0-10-7 booster in 6.5 water @1 gal each still plenty of nuets in the pot just getting them all I can 12/4 Harvested Brandy numbers and pics also be in harvest week when others are done. Not bad for a little plant we did not give much hope of producing. Trics look good - Into the dry box as the tent is full. 206 Grams Wet *****UPDATE***** 12/8 78g dry *****UPDATE***** 12/10 tested 0.5g after decarb and yep all we could have wanted, sativa-ish with good legs. More later 12/5 Fed Maggie and Layla 1 gal each at 6.5PH 12.5ml/gal Soul Peak PK booster, foliar of full cal-mag at lights out just to be sure. Later Just as I hoped it sparked new hair growth, they standing up nice and pretty New plants in tent Quick foliar feed on Maggie, Cal-Mag 1 ml/qt 12/7 Last defoliation on Layla and Maggie just taking off the excess baggage and opening the air and light paths. Layla is definitely ripening but I think one more dose of PK perhaps if not just water. Decide tomorrow Maggie still aggressively building buds so she is absolutely getting more PK, remember there is Dr Earth in the pot so its not like she is being starved for other nuets. I think Maggie, being a sativa pheno, may go another two weeks. Layla has to stay until the drying tent is empty, not using the boxes unless I must. 12/8 0.75 gal ea @6.4 Peak PK 12.5ml/gal 12/10 Looking good still finishing off pics at lights out Tried to fix the nuet list , anything I dont use any longer or dry put to 0.01 dose. Want to be able to say some things about some of this stuff at harvest.
