HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results! ----------- Week 6: ----------- Start of the 2nd week of real flowering. The slight discoloration of the lower leaves continues. Not the biggest problem in itself, but would have liked to see it differently. Her general health is good, but next time I will opt to use a biotab less. 2 pieces seem more than enough. That is why I waited an extra 10 days to give her the one-off treatment of bactrex and orgatrex. It is a solution of 1gr bactrex and 20ml orgatrex in 500ml water to boost bacterial life. She has just received this and she will only get this once. We also set up the dehumidifier to keep the humidity around 50-55%. And we have now also switched on the digital lumatek boost, for maximum light intensity. Since we also don't work with a scrog net (which we really have to consider next time), I already had to tie her in a few places to make sure her shoots do not fall over. But this is a positive 'problem'. Until next update!

Week 8 off flowering Cookies Gelato On to a next week it's getting closer to the end Growmies 😱😱😱 . 5/30 update: both plants have been jarred for curing! A little disappointed with the over all yield but a lot to learn from this first grow! Expert seeds gg#4 comin next 👌0

She took off like a rocket. This week she’s definitely growing day by day. I bought a cctv to monitor my plants while I’m not at home. She loves the nutrients I’m giving her. I’ll probably grow her for about 1.5 feet in height and flip her until she can cover the entire 2x2 tent. We’ll see in the next weeks

Day 66 : The lady seems to be stabilized with the burns , so i started some juices to her water in order to help her with fattening. Hope to wake her a bit and produce some terpenes. Edit Day 70 : I increased again juices to 3ml / L. Also added 1ml / L CalMag. She started to turn purple.

So, I start the harvest last week, but didn't get time to post here, first were the top bud, and this week I got the rest of the plant, it is a good strategy as the lower buds could develop a little more! Amazing growth! I am very happy with the wield, it was my 3 growth at all and my first LST! Great results! Thank you all for the support! Now I will stop for 3 months, going to Africa for a little bit! :-)

Not a bad yield, smells really nice, fuel and berries

Ok so had a lot to do this week harvested the large critcial mass to which I got 6 n half 0z from one plant so happy with that i also had a few issues with enviroment mainting right temp and humidty as been a lil issue but think all is well now so there all now on the 7 week of flower think I may push these as far as I can to maximise yield potential overall a real good plant to grow had very few issues from start to finish a top strain a deffo keeper for the garden of mothers in my opinion

Last week I could notice the plant has a calmag deficiency, you can see the leaves with pale borders. However, it looks heatlhy after all, with big leaves and gaining height. I'm planning to use LST next week, when maybe she's recovered from the calmag deficiency. Let me know your thoughts!

Day 78 starting week 2 flower everything looks spot on apart from lower leafs yellowing which is normal will be defoliating leafs which are blocking lights and pruning all lower popcorn sites in the next day or 2 also as i stated on last weeks post my.ph pen maybe playing up because i couldnt get a replacement quick i had some advanced ph perfect nutes so giving that a go

Yellowing of WW#2 is worrying me, looks to be a nutrient issue maybe? I raised the light above WW#2 by 4 inches in case its light burn as well. Other than that and the nute burn on The other plants things seem well. End of week update: things are looking great, I think whatever happened to WW2 is reducing its ability to form buds? Not sure. It’s looking okay, hoping they’re going to fill out well! Definitely need to grow the widow XXL again, it’s a shame I had another plant fall on WW2 and damage it, likely contributes to the yellowing and such. WW1 still has no amber trichomes, waiting for this entire week to end before I even think about harvesting. I am eager to harvest so I can get more light to lower buds on the other plants. I had to tie up 1/3 NL2 main colas. It was so heavy it was beginning to split the bottom stalk, there was no damage really just maybe 1/20th of the stalk was peeling from the weight. I tied him up to the light and everything seems well. I figured I wouldn’t run into that problem, but don’t underestimate how much weight buds can pack on!

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. she still grows. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. All ladies enjoy this bright sun for sure. I have a very good combination of sprectrums. Cree cobs are in 3000k and HPS at 2000k.

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark.
