Day 70: Want to know how the trichomes are looking on my OG Kush, they look pretty clear to me but not 100%🤷‍♂️🏼 any feedback would be great, this OG is about 10 weeks old from seed, there was some temp issues, and nutrients locks but still going strong I believe.

~FastBuds Tropicana Cookies~ This was my first time running this FastBuds strain, along with my first attempt at 'hydroponic' growing using the AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System from GrowAce. I cultivated three plants from seed to finish in just over 70 days growing in a 70/30 Coco/Perlite mix coupled with a layer of straight Perlite in the bottom of the fabric pots to ensure drainage and fed Plagron nutrients for the entire run with the exception of a 10 day flush at the end. Among those three cultivars, I had three distinctly different phenotypes. The #1 plant grew short and extremely bushy, with beautiful thick purple flowers, showing more Indica like traits. The #2 plant, which was the only one of the three that was topped, stretched her 'legs' and grew fairly tall in comparison to the #1. She also lacked the deep purple coloration of the #1, having just hints of light lavender in her flowers which were stacked tightly and completely frosted over with glistening trichomes! Lastly, the #3 phenotype grew the tallest of the bunch with wide, 'Sativa-like', node spacing. She was the one that experienced several issues during the grow, but finished out not looking too bad with a super dark purple coloration to her flowers that almost appears black. That dark purple color, coupled with her dark orange pistils give her flowers extra eye appeal! FastBuds Tropicana Cookies Auto was a very easy to cultivate strain and produced really spectacular results all things considered. I'll definitely be looking forward to running this one again in a 100% organic grow and can't wait to the results from that! 😎👍 Now let me move on the the AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System from GrowAce. I was sponsored this system in return for my feedback on it shared through my Social Media accounts. On paper, this looks like a really great product, and I'm sure with enough time and experience you could get optimal results from using it, but for me that just was not the case. The initial setup went very smoothly, GrowAce's AirCube System looks to be extremely well made, comes with fairly clear instructions, and went together easily. I did add hose clamps to all the fittings attached to hoses for an extra measure of insurance against leaks (no one needs 20+gallons flooding the grow room!) and also placed the reservoir and 'brain bucket' outside of my 4x4 which allowed me to place all six AirCube pots in the tent, and yes it ended up being a bit too tight for me... it probably would work better with 3 plants or less in a 4x4. So lets get in to my pluses and minuses in my opinion for the GrowAce AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System: Positives: • Well made • Easy to assemble • Easy to understand instructions and lots of 'how to' media available • Easily expandable Negatives: • Not for novices, previous hydroponic growing experience needed • No way to control solution temperature in reservoir • Roots growing out of the fabric pots end up dying and rotting which results in a ton of debris in the solution necessitating draining/cleaning/refilling the system every 4-5 days • No way to adjust nutrient levels for individual plants, they all get the same PPM like it or not. • Requires having all plants start together, and finish together as there is no way to flush individual plants. • Lastly, I like to turn my plants, which is impossible and also to photograph them which is difficult with this setup. All in all, I enjoyed the experience of 'hydro' growing, but am ready to get back to what I really LOVE to do which is 100% organic grows... Stay tuned fam!

Both plants grew very differently. The organic grew like a normal indica based plant. Decent sized main cola that was surrounded by shorter side nodes that still had some pretty sized buds. She had an overall lovely structure. Took to LST like a champ. And was 1 of my most trouble free auto grows to date. She's a beginners delight. Her bounty was 69g on harvesting. And 3g in test I took last week. She grew to 58cm. Vegged out at 25 days, and took another 50 to flower. As I kept a steady temperature throughout their entire life(s), (especially pre flower) there was no unwanted stretching in all my plants. She was very compact allowing the light to reach every part of the plant, done some light lollipoppoing during and before pre flower, not much, as there was no need. She took a lovely natural shape, and with LST. It allowed me to put all buds into the light. And she gave me some seriously lovely bud. I've no doubt when I run them again in coco I'll get a much bigger yield. But 10☆ all the way. The Synthetic. She grew totally differently, she acted as though she was topped and grew all nodes pretty much the same size. Wasn't as dense as the organic but there was a lot of the bud was pretty much the same size buds. She never really grew beyond 42cm. She picked up a pigment mutation and was a little more demanding feeding this girl on Synthetic nutrients. Whereas the organic was apply powder twice to soil and then bioenhancer feeds (every 2 weeks). But, every week she got a low ppm feed never exceeding 700ppm (the Synthetic). Learning to grow more with less nutrients.. gave no trouble really. Had no hard defs/toxs..picked up what I thought was early fade during flowering, just turned out to be wanting a little bit more P and she settled down. Again, Took to LST really well. And was no trouble. Really easier growers, both girls. ROUND UP OF BOTH PHENOS (Organic Synthetic) Both girls, may have differed in the way they grew. But, if you put both strains together, as they are, (uncured) there is no way I'd be able to tell the difference if I done a blind taste/smell test. Both girls gave roughly 115g in 75 days. They both have deep long orange pistils with very tight buds that are packed with flavours galore, and very sticky and stinky. Mainly berries (blackcurrant) at the moment has a grip on them with hints of pine with a citrus undertone. We will see if their profile changes much with a nice long cure. I should have a smoke report in before contest closes to give a true measure of these ladies. Shows how solid and steady these phenos are, as they are so closely in smell, taste and so on. Is a testament of good genes and Dutchs hard work to make all phenos more or less be similar. So, any beginner would have a very good experience growing these type of auto. Can't wait to try more from Dutch-Passion. And, you can get the same results, or near the same tasres/smells and big quality. EQUIPMENT USED. I used a 100w mainly to do these girls. I was swapping around in their early stages of life, trying to give them a higher ppfd. But, been hit with fungus gnats hampered me, by doing this. So, sadly they were only given a 100w mainly for most of their flowering life. They did get a dose of my FC 3000 from marshydro but, not enough time under it to do anything substantial. But, I'm sure it did have some impact on these. As most of my autos came out a little airy whereas these 2 phenos are nice and dense. The Synthetic was dry after 7 days. The organic took a day longer to be fully dry. Everything has been put to the cure. And smoke reports will soon follow with pictures of cured bud.

All round sugarlato is looking like the healthiest auto I’ve grown so far. The smell is phenomenal and I will defiantly be using green house seed co for every grow I do. Genetics are 12 out of 10. Can’t wait to taste the end result!

Seit dem umtopfen in 11L hat sich nochmal einiges getan. Der Orange Bud hat das konstante Licht im Zelt auch gut gefallen und sie ist schön gewachsen. Das Wetter war ja leider sehr bescheiden. Richtig im Regen standen sie aber nicht und ich habe immer drauf geachtet, dass die Wurzeln nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum im nassen stehen.

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-25. Week 6 starts. Added a video of the girls. Gave the girls water and nutrients. Girl N1 is 60 cm high and have grown 14 cm in 7 days. Nr 2 is 37 cm and has grown 4 cm in 7 days. I flushed the girls yesterday with 40 liters of tap water. Im lowering the humidity in the room with a dehumidifier and try to have 50% air humidity. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-29. This week I made a special video tour of the grow room, hope you like it. This Gorilla is feeling great! She’s spent this week fattening up lower colas. These colas are even frostier than bigger ones. I didn’t get them so frosty on my last growth. I still have to give her Overdrive since the soil is still wet, but will do it in a few days. It was a rough go for me becuase of the heat out here and i made some mistakes. I shop of taken the light controll and dimmer box out of my tent instead of leaving ontop of the light. The tent got way too hot during the days. I had a air cooler but that only brought down the temp by 10 to 15 degrees. The pine apple chunk was a fighter and stayed strong and ive got some decent nuggs out of it all! Tell next time fam

Next week completed. Kicked off with lst on autoflowers and blue. Blue growing very fast and big altough lack of side branches on radar. Suspected to be male. One bahamian has been FIMMED, growing nice and bushy. Im very happy with HPS light. Stared using rhizotonic and cannazym along with canna vega.blue showed a little small symptoms of being overfed, sorted out with clean water. Now Im watering with nutrients every second time. Small plants have new home, im trying out a few different pot sizes and training styles just for my own experience. This is my second growth in a suitcase, I got 30 grams of dry flowers from the first growth, but this growth together with FastBuds is obviously much better than the first one :) although the girl's leaves burn from the light, which is only 10-15 cm from the flowers, but the girl copes with it perfectly :) good luck to everyone.

Grow update: I upraded the lights (see bio) and removed the old ones, except the COB light which is being tested as auxiliary. PURPLE! We have purple, i repeated, WE HAVE PURPLE!!! it showed a day after changing the lights, only on that spot for now, but i'm sure it's spreading!
