3rd week ... life goes on ... leaves come out ... branches grow ... what else? ☕️😂😂😂 Period : 05/04 - 11/04/25 DIARIE: A small word about my growing equipment (pic 1): - I use two 9.2L airpots (yellow base) that I modify by cutting the first three levels of the top plastic extensions inside in order to install the FloraFlex caps that fit perfectly. The bases are placed at the very bottom to stay around 9L. - Under the airpots, there are under-pots with a drainage tray of about 400 ml. It's practical but very insufficient, I would replace them with a drainage system made by myself like the FloraFlex PotPro Platform (Not found in my country 😭). - I put a scale under the under-pots. I had this idea when I started growing again. For me it's incredibly effective! I have a reference weight and I weigh it "before" and "after" watering, as well as daily, so I know when to water. I press the pots and the scales light up. Perfect watering when it's needed!!! Other information : - Watering volume per plant : 600 ml - Ro water : EC 0.0 & PH 5.8 - Light : Dimmer 60 % - PPFD : 350 - No PH check 🐍Day 1 : My 2 "girls" continue to develop well 🌿 🐍Day 2 : The plants are growing very well. 1st watering. 🐍Day 3 : I'm really happy with the progress of my two BBGs! The branches are growing but, for me, are not yet long enough to start LST. 🐍Day 4 : Dim. : 80% - PPFD: 390 - I fixed the Floraflex on the airpots (Hot glue, easy to remove) so that the caps do not lift with the attachment of the branches during the LST. 2nd watering. 🐍Day 5 : Installing a 6" Mars Hydro oscillating fan, my little Winflex fans, as old as the grow tent, are dying. 🐍Day 6 : Some photos and short vidéos. 3rd and last watering for this week. 🐍Day 7 : PPFD : 430 - Changing the sprinklers. The black clips allow you to plug two of the three holes and also make removing easier. Installation of the "Gravity Dripper" allows for much slower watering, at 2 cm in the grow medium. Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. 30.12.24: So I finally became brave enough last night to use LST on my grow for the first time. Watermelon 🍉 is doing much better than the other plants were at this stage, and still better than one that's 7 weeks old already! I'm very pleased with this strain and phenotype so far. As I've implemented the LST much earlier for her, I'm very excited to see what happens in the next couple of weeks 😃 Thanks for checking out my diary 🙂🍃✌️

I am very proud of this girl ! Despite the fact that she is younger than the rest by two weeks, she caught up with her friends in height and even surpassed them :) The giant fan leaves are surprising 😃

The critical soma looks very healthy. I think she will be ready in 2 big weeks. The two Dinamed look also good but may be a few days more. Trichomes are clear, aren't it? Thx Edit: a little bit to much nutrients for the critical but it's now OK.

Turning I out amazing this one 👌🏻 She's small but she's gonna pack it on. So glad i never scrapped her haha Smell is ridiculous already. It's so pungent when you get up close burns ya nose honestly 😂 But has that beaut citrus when you touch the frosty leaves. Can't wait for these next few weeks

Week 12 has started well. The flowers are still growing and the smell is still great :) I applied weekly nutrients on day 1 of week 12. On week 12 day 4 I added Z7 enzyme to my reservoir and I defoliated the girls to bring in more light to the lower canopy. On day 5 I decided to harvest two colas from Pheno 2. It seems to be finishing faster than the other phenos(mostly amber hairs although trichomes are not mature after closer inspection... I want to experience what effect I get from early harvest so to compare to later harvest. From now on I will leave the plants alone until they are all closer to harvest. 😅

Pour préparer votre solution, dans votre réservoir ou arrosoir : Mettre en premier la base (Iguana) Ensuite Ancient Earth Et enfin les bactéries ASSUREZ-VOUS D'UTILISER UNE EAU DE BONNE QUALITE (EC < 0,2) POUR DE MEILLEURS RESULTATS. J'utilise un substrat non enrichi pour permettre le meilleur départ à mes plantes. Il s'agit du Promix de Plagron, il a une EC proche de 0, c'est pour cette raison que je commence les engrais assez fort dès le début. Les plantes sont très gourmande sous LED haute intensité et l'enracinement est rapide. J'arrose tous les 3 jours environ avec 2 arrosages à l'engrais et 1 à l'eau par semaine. Je n'attend pas que le substrat sèche complétement sinon ça réduit l'efficacité de l'arrosage, ça détruit la faune et éventuellement facilite la cristallisation des minéraux. Au niveau du volume d'arrosage, il faut prendre en compte 1/3 de la taille du pot. Pour un pot de 1L je vais donc arroser environ 300ml. Pour un Pot de 10L je vais arroser environ 3L. Il est important d'arroser doucement pour éviter que l'eau ne coule tout de suite au fond. Il est important d'avoir au moins 15% de drain pour s'assurer d'évacuer tous les nutriments non consommé et faire la place aux nouveaux. IL EST PRIMORDIALE D'EVACUER L'EAU AU FOND DES COUPELLES, c'est une eau qui est chargée en nutriments non consommé et on ne veut pas qu'elle remonte dans les pots car cela risquerait de créer des blocages. Au niveau de la technique de taille de formation, je réalise tout de suite une FIM que je reproduirai dès que l'apex aura repoussé. La première FIM est la plus longue mais les suivantes sont très rapide car la plante s'habitue à la technique et cela la stress beaucoup moins. En général il faut reproduire la FIM tous les 3 à 4 jours en fonction de la vigueur. C'est une technique très facile à mettre en œuvre et ne demande aucun matériel. C'est aussi la plus rapide pour obtenir des buissons. N'hésitez pas à me contacter si vous avez des questions concernant la FIM! Je retire également les feuilles supérieur (pas toute pour éviter de ralentir la plante) qui cache les secondaires pour augmenter l'efficacité de la FIM sur la croissance des secondaires.

She's looking absolutely gorgeoys very bushy with 12 main colas,wish I could have had more time to grow her in vegetative stage however she's eating very good,no problems at all,she went trough a bad week where she was lacking some nutrient I don't know why because she is in a living soil like her sisters and none of them had any issues however she's starting flower,actually she started force flowering with her sisters on August 3rd

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. 21.07.2025 Defoliation, Lollypopping, and LST/HST. 25.07.2025 The strechy pheno on the right side has some problems. I think I've overwaterd her a little. But she is already the looser in this grow. Even though she is the most mature yet. The short pheno in the middle is doing alright. But the pheno on the left side is a real beaty. And she smells so much more than the other two!

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

1 Mother plant and 3 clones from the original mother they all grew well after some topping and training. Acapulco Gold was a pleasure to grow, it developed well throughout all the stages of growth a lot of trics appeared with solid dense buds that gave me a satifactory yield. The approximate dry weight was about 228 grams about 8oz from the mother, but i did take some preharvest so this is a ball park figure that is probably way off, i was a bit late in getting the full weight and some i harvested later so i lost track, apologies if your looking for an accurate final weight report.
