Girls started to flower about a week ago and so far looks good and healthy to me. I have only 20cm space left above the light so I truly hope the stretch phase is getting to the end :) I feel like every grow I have done so far I thought I switched too early and in the end I worry about the space so my next grow will be experiment 12/12 from seed. I have seen very interesting diaries utilising this method so I can't wait to test it. Not much else to mention, standard 2.5 EC (my starting tap water is 0.4 probably due to chlorine?) ph 6.0 humidity is around 55% and 60% during the night, I will definitely get dehumidifier foe the last month, because mould has been my biggest enemy during my previous grows. temp is getting close to 29 celsius during the day. I just ordered some additional clip fans so it hope fully helps to reduce any possible heat stress. I defoliated quite heavily about a week ago and when I finished and put them back, I was a bit worried if I didn't go too hard on them, however just two days ago it was back to normal. Did little bit of defoliation once again today, got rid of some bottom branches and older fan leaves getting no light at the bottom. Week begins 8/12 LAST FEED 2 gallons 8/12 AFTER A RAINING NIGHT. 8/13 I've found what appears to be septoria on a couple plants. Looks like the weather will be OK tonight so I can apply organocide or something similar before dark. I've seen random pillar damage so this will be a two-for. I also should move the middle plant back and utilize my space more. Ph seems on point around 7.3. Higher in some places of the soil. I've noticed what looks like root issues on my blueberry. Winds were horrible yesterday and this plant doesnt hace a vertical trellis for support. Stem was pretty wobbly for a while but the plant seems to be growing fine. Either that or a jpn beetle munched the top of a bud. That's probably what happened. It was in the low 50's this morning. That's a 40 degree temperature swing in just a few days. This grow season has been the most challenging I've faced. Of course it had to happen when personal, family, and health concerns rear their head. Oh well. I can only do my best. 8/14 Went over at 5am to apply organocide to treat WPM or septoria as well as insecticide for pillars. I got there and one of my healthiest plants had been turning a little lime green now it was drooped over just like the larger GDP. This one is a 9lb kush though and they were doing good. Now it looks like it's dead over night. Maybe it's that liquid kool bloom. The soil seemed dry so I watered the plants. It MIGHT have picked ok a little. I'll have to check tonight. If not something is going on at night or in the rootzone and I really don't know what the fuck is going on. I will post updates and check later tonight. Damn. This has been a real challenging year. 8/15 That plant might be overwatered or not be draining correctly. At least I was able to get underneath it and the ground was dry. It was also hard packed dirt so elevating the bag may help. I'm going to wait a few days and see if things improve. This really sucks. I'm getting that defeated feeling. I need to get out of it though as I'm starting to see flower begin. The blueberry is probably the farthest along. I need to remember to take pictures of the newly developing flowers. Granted I've had numerous medical and other issues that have taken me off my game but losing two plants in one year is pretty shitty. I was able to fix things with COVID last year or the year before so I hope I can at least save this 9lb kush plant. If I lose this plant too it will be a substantial amount of cannabis lost. I need to rearrange my cage as well to make use of the extra space. Maybe I could've overwatered that plant that had been in the rain for a long time. I need to get my water routine down pat instead of doing the "lift the pot" method I have been doing. I went to several different commercial growers and got a bunch of crazy answers. Only time will tell. Last night I finished the organocide application on all the other plants except for the two babies and the drooped 9lb kush. Don't want to stress it further. I'll see how it goes. 8/16 Despite the soil drying out the newest disaster (my 9lb kush) is much worse with chlorosis killing leaves. Stalks and branches seem good. Soil smells musty and a little wetter than the rest. It was roofed to the ground slightly. NO water underneath. I stuck my hand in the bag from a bunch of angles. It's like the same thing that happened with the other one. I added to my surveillance. I also smell bleech and I hace an idea this might not be my doing at all. I can't be detailed but I'll find out one way or another. UPDATE. Went back over after the dentist and plants were dry as a fucking bone and droopy. I mixed up five gallons of phed water and watered everything. Even the 9lb kush that is pretty much dead. The soil was dry though. Everyone is saying overwater but I really doubt that. We had some massive rainstorms bur still. I need to review a game cam I have because unfortunately my cams went on the frits for a couple days (and the dogs went wild during that time around midnight) couple nights in a row. I fucking smell bleech. I'm a good dude and don't really have any enemies but we'll see what the game cam pulls up. 8/17 Of course we are getting a shit ton of rain. I watered yestetday because everything was dry as a bone I watched yesterday as my blueberry was almost horizontal due to the wind. I added several supports to every branch and a few more up the main stalk. That may be what has been happening. The wind blowing so hard it separates the stalk from the roots. My problems started after I took my windbreaker tarp down. I put it back up for this storm. Or maybe it's just root rot. I dont fucking know. I cut all the dead stuff off the 9lb kush thats pretty mucb dead. Its holding on though. I probably shouldnt have watered that but it seemed bone dry. Maybe further down was wet. I dont know. Extra cams are up. I didn't smell that chemical bleachy smell today so it's probably in my head. I have better peace of mind with the night cams up though.and the dogs though. I've had a visitor this year but he left very quickly. 8/18 We got a shit ton of rain last night. No damage though. I spent what time I had in the garden working on the 9lb kush that looked like it was dieing. I'm not giving up on this one so easy. It seems to want to hold on. Despite the severely overwatered medium (due to this storm) I cam see new growth that looks healthy. The branches also seem stronger. I'm cautiously optimistic. The other one straight up died. So I might be able to salvage this. I'll go over later today and check on it. I debated putting it inside for the storm bur I figured I'd let the rain leech out anything in the medium in case it's locked out or something. At least I've got a couple real healthy ones this year. That NYCSA is amazing. That's a strain I'll probably grow again. Resilient as all all. Vigorous and doesn't seem impacted by things like WPM or other fungal ok infections or diseases like some other strains. I got a great recommendation from my buddy to use pots all the same size. It makes things easier watering. I just used what I had this year. I had bigger pots so I wanted to fill them. That tarp being up I think greatly helped with the wind. It's down now so things cam dry out. Still raining bit not yard and no wind. I think that may have played a large role in killing the 7ft GDP. Wind ripping the stalk away from the roots. Or it could've been a million other things. I'll never know. I do know that I have a better mindset, a great set of resources and I'm learning something new every year. If I can br8ng this plant back to life I'm going to be very proud of myself.....and her. Oh and I'm going to buy new tiger bloom. I'll start beasty bloom (hesitant as it has caused lockout in the past) as it goes better with my other nutes than the liquid kool bloom. Plus I started getting portables around tge time I used the liquid kool bloom. That being said, after two weeks I can see buds where there weren't before so I don't know. Next year I'm using seeds and I'm doing things different. I'm STRONGLY considering rapacaps idea about adding a removable roof for flower. The more I think about it tge better it sounds. That and putting wheels on pallets (buddy suggestion) and I could attach my supports directly to the pallet. I've got a lot of work to do that's for sure. Plants look healthy but I needvto him them again with organocide to fight any fungal stuff or pillars that might be hiding.

Week 8 Flower My favourite part; Flush flush flusshhhhh 🚽🌊💦 This is the time where you will see the most swelling and ripening of the buds, and also it's winter colours in its leaves and possibly even flowers (strain dependent) as the plant cannibalizes itself of all of its stored nutrients. Many strains will fade into a bright yellow, but a lot of strains can turn to many stunning colours such as purple, orange, red or even black! Purpling can also occur on your flowers throughout flush, which only adds to it's bag appeal! I believe it's extremely important to include a flush period at the end of each cycle. I don't necessarily mean you have to flush copious amounts of water through them like I do, but the end goal is to have a cannibalised plant before harvesting, regardless of your system, methods or medium. Having a proper flush is what gives you the clean burning, smooth smoke in the end. If many nutrients are left in the flowers, it can create a hard black ash that can spark as you toke 💥😷 and would be quite toxic for you to smoke. I start by pouring just enough water through the pot to get a decent run off in the catch tray below. I then take a note of the ppm/EC and pH of that run off to see how she's doing, and then adjust the pH of the rest of the water to be flushed if required. This girl's run off was a little high, at approx 6.2-6.5pH so I adjusted the rest of the flush water to around 5.5-5.6pH. This should bring it back down a bit more, although it doesn't really matter so much later in flush as she's only feeding on herself anyway, not what is in her pot. Once adjusted, I pour around 30ltr through her pot to reduce the salt contents in the coco. I then take another reading of her last bit of run off in the catch tray and make a note. I find that flushing a large amount of water through the coco speeds up the process because it has taken away many more nutrients from the coco than with not doing so. This gives the plant no choice but to instantly start to cannabilize on the only nutrients available; it's own. Once they're fading fast I'll simply feed them enough for a decent run off as I know there's nothing left in the coco. The amount of buds on this girl is absolutely insane! She's a monster! She's swelling up but still getting taller, with her tallest cola almost touching the reflector now. I'm definitely glad I supported her! I'm going for a 3+ week flush as I can't take her any further with plants in veg waiting for spaces, so hopefully she'll ripen up! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Something wrong happened on the end of last week. I had a little irrigation problem and I did a m mistake with the fan’s position, it was too direct on the roots. I think this could have caused a block to the nutrients transmission. I will give just water with regulator ed enzym+. Let’ a see

9/26 This fucking sucks. Site won't let me upload pictures. Flood warning in effect. I believe this is the fifth day of rain. Not trickles. Sheet rain and high winds. My dream catchers have been taking this like a champ. Ice cream cake was totally sideways for awhile despite vertical trellis. I came down this morning to branches bent at 90° angles. I could've taken them but if I make it through this rain today it's supposed to stop tonight. Then I'll have a week of good weather. Buds are exploding. Even the ice cream cake. That will need more time but I'm getting close with the others. They are never out of sight. I'm surprised they've held up so well so far. I made my decision it would be stupid to alter it now, seeing how the storm is ending. I was going to spray k bicarb but I'll wait until after this rain.UPDATE: Went back over and the garden was flooded. I needed to put one grow bag on top of another as one plant was in six inches of water. I drained it and added supports and pulled off any dead leaves. I tried taking a video but it was raining so hard it stopped after 7 secs. Luckily my dreamcatchers are strong AF. Took to little ones and put them under the barn under a light. It's FINALLY stopped raining. After I smoke I gotta go back over and shake buds again and check for rot. Luckily nothing was broken but it was hanging right down. Fucking sucks. Spent like two hours in sheet rain. UPDATE: Stopped raining. I went over and continued to defoliate and cut little bits of rot from the interior. Sprayed a gallon of potassium bicarbonate and dawn on ever spot of rot I could find. I've been to the patch multiple times today. Found a few earwigs. I think I've found my problem. Late stage leaf septoria with earwigs eating the rotting plant matter. Fucking sucks but at least I have an idea. Can't upload pics and phone wouldn't even work in the rain. One 7 second video. 9/27 The extra work I've been putting in has certainly helped. I got in touch with a company who will do any type of extraction I want for $200 a lb. Fucking awesome. My cousin got 250 grams love rosin last year with this same company. I am sore. I checked trichs but I'm not seeing much Amber yet. Buds are gaining density fast. At least now that I have an idea what my problem is I can address it. Plants showed signs of pm after drying out. I did a k bicarb spray and this morning there isn't a spot. I need to take care of what's hanging so that's the plan today. 9/28 I think I made the right decision.my plants are looking good. Not where I want them but it's getting close. I checked the trichs this morning. Under 24 hour surveillance till harvest. Well it has been but now I stay up every nigh watching the cctv. Went down in the middle of the night to check for nocturnal bugs. Didn't find any. I've been defoliating the yellow septoria leaves. I went through every plant and cut out any rot and removed andy sugar leaves that started to turn brown. This and the k bicarb seem to help. I think that Leaf septoria has dwarfed the growth of the smaller dream catcher. Buds don't seem to be growing much more. Even my ICC has buds almost the size of the little one. The other dreamcatcher will probably be an elbow plant. The ice cream cake has beefed up incredibly and is covered in trich's. I'm super excited but I'm cautious at the same time. I hate that fucking dog but it's an added layer of security. Soon I'll do the harvest report for DJ short blueberry. 9/29 Trich's are changing fast. Haven't been watering lately do to all the rain. Plants are real real close. Up all night watching. Dog flipped out at 4am but no one was there. I want to wait until I have a little more Amber but I'm super excited. I may end up taking some tops. May end up doing a k bicarb spray today. Haven't decided yet. I'll update as I go. I've been making head way trimming the blueberry. 9/30. Things are looking beautiful. The smell at the garden is amazing. Lots of hard work left. Plants do have septoria and slight pm so I may do a bud wash. I cut a branch from each plant. I think I'm at the point of diminishing returns. Every wet night mold and critters take more and the chances of some idiot coming to try and take my shit increases. I may end up harvesting a little earlier. I'd lie to wait but the trichs look pretty good to me. Still doing all the maintenance required. I am extremely proud of this grow. I fought everything this year. Started with mites and thrips. Powder mildew came with them too. Now I've faced every pest or disease this year. At least it seems that way. I've seen the horror stories on my local Facebook thread. Leave your comments and let me know what you think about trichome stages and whether it would be ok to harvest. 10/1 Rained last night. LA is doing lovely, she's was originally the tallest but after folding her like a lawn chair after a big day on the beers her upward growth has slowed right down and she's starting to push outwards like I was anticipating. LA punch is an unreleased genetic from Cali connection. I suggest if you top her to top her once. Relax on the defoilation and let her grow out. She is quiet compact and wants to stay together so you need to try and be forceful to get your way but do be careful. Doesn't like stress in the sense of defoilation and topping early on but handles high PH, high EC and high temperatures so far but obviously not for long otherwise you can seriously stunt your ladies. Light went from 60% to 90% over Week 5 to Week 6, next 2 days she'll be at 100% ready for flowering. 2 set AC infinity bar lights will go in over this week as well as my scrogg net. Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla cookies Auto de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es muy fácil de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado muy bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que está bien explotada y que va repleta de tricomas. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue sucficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba.
