What up family sorry for the late update, was out of town for the past week. Wow what a site when I opened the tent to plants that have tripled in size easily. They're just start the flower period so I'll switch the Nutrients over to Athena Bloom A & B as well as a P & K booster. They got a light defoliation before I left even though you can't tell, I'll be doing some more this week and doing a little lollipopping. All in all super excited for the flower period. Happy Growing

End of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got them outside... A bit late this year because of the weather. Cold nights. I put a heat sink in there this year to help keep the temp up at nights. 40 gallons of water is under the table. 8 - 5 gallon containers. I'll get them out of there when the weather gets warmer at night. The plants sure look happier in the last pictures that were taken this morning. The soil is 5 gallons of Sunshine Mix #4 (70% Moss) and 5 gallons of compost out of my composters, and mixed them. When I transplanted the plants I surrounded the root balls in the Sunshine mix that has neutral ph, so the roots will grow into the compost and not get burnt by the hot soil right next to the root ball. I added another 3 gallons of Sunshine mix to do that, and to top dress and fill the pots. All the plants have about the same amount of soil in their new pots. Just rain water for now. There is lots of food for them when the roots get to the compost mix. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

23.08.24: I've done considerable defoliation. Also, FBP1 and FBP3 have grown all over the place. The stems are also relatively weaker as they've grown so much. (Photos above). Being as the plants were looking a bit delicate, I added some string and tied the side branches lightly to keep them a bit more compact. Additionally, FBP2 has a considerable amount of buds on the main cola. So I've added a plant stake, and I just tied string around the stake and the main stalk. The humidity has been able to stay under 53%. That's with 3 dehumidifiers. So I'm pretty sure that's about as good as it will probably be. I've had to lower the watering frequency on FBP3, as I overwatered only this plant. and also added too much Nitrogen in. As a result all the leaves are looking droopy. I'm really not sure how this will pan out, as they all still look like they're weeks away from harvest. Anyway, I'll update throughout the week. 25.8.24: I was tending to the garden a majority of the day, and realised that a branch had broken on FBP2. I acted quickly to insert plant stakes, to provide the heavily laden branches additional support. See photos above. The branch was bent or snapped, but still in one piece. I used duct tape to carefully put it back together. Before making a stake for it. Silica, apparently wasn't quite enough to get the FBP2 through the whole way. The flowers are very heavy and dense. I have also given the plants water yesterday with concentrations of the following nutrients, per plant. ● 9ltr of dechlorinated tap water with 6ml of cal-mag, 3ml of Ecothrive Flourish, 6ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster. I have also added cinnamon top dress after watering, as I have noticed some fungus gnats. I checked the trichomes through one of my loupes yesterday too, and nearly all are still glass like in appearance, with some cloudy here and there. I'm definitely going to have some time left on these girls. I did check the PH if my soil on all plants as I was concerned about nutrient lock out on FBP3. All pots tested out at 7.0 Ph exactly, before and after watering. Thanks for reading my diary 😊

Hello GrowDiaries friends. 70 days since my little girl sprouted from seed/harvest time🌱 Technical and general parameters from Zamnesia breeder: Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 Growing Apple Fritter Automatic according to breeder: In the grow room, Apple Fritter Auto is a true pleasure. Its height rarely exceeds 100cm, and its structure is typical of an indica 🍀🍃🌲; think short internodes, thick, dark-green foliage, and vigorous growth. While Zamnesia’s photoperiod Apple Fritter responds extremely well to both low and high-stress training, Apple Fritter Automatic is best left to its own devices due to its short life cycle (which averages about 70 days from seed to harvest). 🌱🌿🌾 My experience: I made two major mistakes while growing it - high pH at the beginning of flowering and over-fertilizing during one watering 💩💩 It affected all the plants in the tent. Some more, some less. This plant was one of the resistant ones. Although the breeder himself states how sensitive autoflowers are and I can confirm that they really are, this strain handled this strain very well. This is definitely the most beautiful and strongest plant of the round 💚🍎🌱 The harvest turned out accordingly, I am really very satisfied 👍🌞 Strain data sheet Apple Fritter Automatic Brand: Zamnesia Seeds Parents: Sour Apple X Animal Cookies X Ruderalis Genetics: Indica-dominant Auto Flowering Type: Autoflowering Flowering Time: 10-11 weeks from seed to harvest THC: 23% CBD: Low Height (Indoor): 100cm Height (Outdoor): 100cm For cultivation I used: ------------------------------------------------------ Growing tent Mammoth PRO+ 80: 80x80x180cm 1x circulation fan: 15W 🌬️ LED lighting: Mars Hydro TS 1000 - 150W - vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Exhaust: duct fan - RAMTT100 🌬️ Odor filter: PRO-ECO HF carbon filter 160-240m3/h - 100mm - maximum air flow up to 240m3/h 4x Airpots 11 l I mix substrate: Biobizz Lightmix + Perlite + Coco coir For sale here 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇: ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡https://www.zamnesia.com/7653-zamnesia-seeds-apple-fritter-automatic.html ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ Thanks for the likes :) See you soon 😍😍

YEEEEEEAAAH BOOOOOI, my fabric pot arrived as i expected so i re-potted my baby about 8pm tonight, i used the same CANNA TERRA PRO Soil as before to fill the fabric pot (Soaked it in water then let to drain) and the transplant went smoothly. A video and photo have been uploaded showing it in its forever pot, and i also installed a proper oscillating fan. 14/09 Checked in on the baby this afternoon and looks like shes handled the re-potting just fine which is great news! Everything else is as per usual so will just throw some update photos on. 15/09 Today I checked in on the baby as usual and everything's looking great, she grew a noticeable difference although that's hard to tell in the photos. I gave her a good watering so the humidity came up to 70% for a short time but that's nothing to worry about. Temperature sat around 22 degrees Celsius all day. Photo's show the top and side views for reference. 16/09 Once again the LSD baby grew a nice amount over the day and is looking stout and healthy. The stem is already hardening off and very thick for its short size so i decided to begin to pull her over using LST as i will need to focus on keeping my plant growing low and across due to the space available in my cupboard. Everything went well during the LST so i have put photos up showing what i have done. Temp and humidity is usual. 17/09 Today after work i decided to finally get the mylar roll out and patch the ends of my cupboard as it was pretty rough with tinfoil. I cut out cardboard walls to shape of the existing ends and then lined the edges with carpet tape. I had someone help hold one side and we just placed it down swiftly flat onto the card. This mostly pulled it tight but its not perfect. Other than that, everything's going as per usual and i've uploaded some update photos 18/09 Nothing much to update today, everything's looking good. The weathers been pretty shit so the humidity is up but thats not a worry right now and summer coming up will eliminate that problem. Have updated a couple of photos, basically the plan is to train the plant along the cupboard as low as possible before tipping. This way i can utilize the short spaced cupboard. 19/09 Updated the photos! Everything's looking good, the temperature that is showing is the evening temperature 'which is affected slightly as the cupboard is in a garage. A little low but will only get better as spring comes in. 20/09

Hello and Welcome back 🌱 It‘s now 7 days ago since I put them in Water to Germinate and now it‘s their 5th day of growing. Yesterday, they got their first 4 hours of darkness and now i‘m slowly going down to 18/6 light schedule. I admit, the environment was sometimes very off due to experiments with VPD and leaf temperatur but I think I can dile it in correctly for this growing stage and beyond (hopefully). I was trying to see what happens if I stress them a little and hoped they would grow faster but they 100% didn‘t like it. They heat up pretty fast when the Air is too hot and dry because the roots are not developed and the plant is not established enough. An established plant can stay outside in the heat of the sun and still have cool leaves. So my environment for this stage is as above (27°C,70%RH). Light at 15000 Lux (≈370 ppfd) a little high but I‘ve noticed some stretching and I asumed they wanted more light and I really don’t want any more stretching. My media comes without nutriens so i feed little amounts of it every time they dry out enough. This is a Indica dominant strain so I asume they will stay fairly smal. Btw. If anybody wonders if CO2 bags work, check out the Video I uploaded. They are still seedlings (not really in Veg yet) and so i‘m treating them as such for the rest of the week. Root developement is now the top priority wich, if you didn‘t know, is better in a smal pot first because they are more likely to develope secondary roots but we’ll see. I heard It‘s like topping just underneath the plant. When they are ready to be transplanted I most likely will take the first three. Update: I did all the preperations for Transplant bc I was worried about root bound. I took Nr. 4 out and washed it as carefully as I could to expose the roots. Some of them got stuck on harder peaces of dirt and got ripped off. But it looks like alot of secondary roots developed instead of just one long taproot, wich is nice. I assume i can transplant them in the next few days. I rearanged the plants according to the Lux reading, wich is highest in the middle so the bigger plants (Nr.1 and Nr. 3) went to the sides. Maybe Nr.1 got the „smal“ genetics and it’s not anything environmental. thanks for following along this far and happy growing! Update: hey guys so yesterday I noticed, that the roots are coming out of the bottom. They were trying to get to the bottom of the three pots 😭 i had to do an emergency Transplant wich went very bad because they were stuck in the little pots. I don‘t think i‘m going to use these kind of pots anymore because they were not easy to get out. I even dropped Nr. 3 but luckily nothing bad happened. After the transplant both Nr. 1 and 2 were already ready to get more light. But Nr.3 was turning away from the light and the leaves were hanging down. So to lower the stress and encourage root groth I redusced the amount of light to a minimum and lowered the Temperature and highten the RH. This seemed to work well because the leaves were purking up again. The next day after 6-7 hours of darkness they are doing fine again but i‘m going to give them a little longer to establish themselves in the new pot. I changed the light schedule to 18/6 since I had to give them more darkness yesterday. I hope everything goes smothly from now on.

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Under the ThinkGrow Model 1 LEDs, they’re thriving, leaves praying upward, soaking in that optimized spectrum. 💡 ThinkGrow Model 1 LEDs – Why They Work • PPFD of ~400 µmol/m²/s at their level, running only on Channel One • Full-spectrum lighting tailored for optimal vegetative growth • Passive cooling design, keeping temps stable while saving energy Environmental Conditions (Measured on the TrolMaster Tent-X and the AMP-3) • Temp Max: 26.6°C | Min: 16.2°C • RH Max: 77% | Min: 52% • VPD Max: 1.65 kPa | Min: 0.43 kPa • Solution pH: 5.8 • EC: 0.96 • Water Temp: 16.3°C Why These Numbers Matter: • Keeping VPD in check ensures efficient nutrient uptake • pH and EC levels fine-tuned for maximum root absorption • Water temp stable to avoid root shock and slow growth Autopot System Prep – Getting Ready for the Next Phase The week wraps up with us cleaning and preparing the Autopots for their next phase. These self-watering systems will allow the Runtz girls to access water and nutrients at their own pace, optimizing growth as we head into pre-flower soon! Tag 90: Da die Runtz nun schon deutlich weniger Wasser benötigt und auch schon viele braune Stempel/Stigmen hat, habe ich mich kurzfristig dazu entschlossen schon jetzt keinen Dünger mehr zu geben.
