Hello guys.I m in 4th week with this beauty and she looks fine.I was expecting to get more height this week and I think that she flowers too early.I hope I m wrong 😟

********Week 1 Flower - Sept 19 to 25, 2020******* We switched to flower this week and put in the first SCROG layer.....been busy😃 These girls have some very thick main branches and are pushing out some huge fan leaves💪 They were easily stretched out horizontally to fill in the net and the topping helped to keep the canopy at an even height. The girls are in the same tent as another strain that is known to grow big and will benefit from a SCROG. I don’t feel these girls necessarily need one though. To combat this I decided to set the Cream 47 on boxes before putting in the netting. I set them on boxes which put them 10” taller than Gorilla Girls......may still not have been enough but that is what we are running with🤞😃 Pest maintenance this week as we are getting the last days I am able to comfortably spray the girls. Lost Coast Plant Therapy to keep the gnats, aphids and thrips in check😃 Had a small mishap this week and a damn fan fell on one side of C471 while opening the tent. The net helped to not make this more disastrous but it still set her back a day or two. She has bounded back now and that side of her is coming back and getting taller. At the end of the week I finally gave in and started to pull some of the upper fan leaves😗😗 There is so much leaf in this little 3’ x 3’ tent that it is impacting airflow.......would love a 4‘ x 4’😃 They have reacted very well to the removing of the leaves and those branches are standing up taller and look more healthy the next day!! Keeping the waterings up and getting a fair bit of runoff from the feedings but that is best for Coco to avoid lockouts and pH issues. There were only three feeding days this week. We switched to bloom nutes for base and added silica for supplementals. Vitamin B and Kelp coming from B52 and sweetener for the microbes from bud candy. As well as Sensyzime to let the enzymes clean up the root zone because they have been in the pots for a few weeks now. Little more detail: Sept 19/20 - Day 1 - Plant Therapy @ 5ml in 1L water. Ph to 5.4. - Folier spray applied to whole tent half hour before lights on, used 3/4 of mixture - Feeding mixture was Sensyzime @ 1ml only - 25ppm and 5.2pH......missed it a bit. - each girl given 3L - SCROG put in Sept 20/20 - Day 2 - Sprayed the last of the IPM mixture on the tent tonight. - Noticed several small shinny spots on leaves later today.....suspect from Folier spray on leaves. Sept 21/20 - Day 3 - Nice full strength week 1 mixture applied today - Rhino Skin, Cal Mag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom A&B , B52, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy @ 1ml. - 625 ppm and 5.7pH - 3L given to each girl.......not enough runoff.....bump feedings up to 4L going forward. - silica added today. - freaking fan dropped on C471 today in the one corner🤬 Could have been worse👌 Sept 23/20 - Day 5 - CalMag @ 2ml, Rhino, Sensi Bloom A&B, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml. - 850ppm and 5.9pH - 4L given to each girl. - better run off amount That wraps up the first week of flower........Cream 47 was more of a transition week while Gorilla Girl was well in flower. The net is in and the lights flipped. The girls were ready for flower and now we just need to keep giving them what they want for the next 6 weeks and then coast from there👍 Hopeful they will find another 12” of growth in them but not sure they will stretch that much in the net....time will tell. Sweet Seeds girls making me smile again with anticipation of some fat colas from these girls😃

The plant is eating well and I’m giving more bio heaven,I used only twice the acti-Vera,Alg-A-Mic.

This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. I wanted to preserve the flower instead of them rotting away. Found some interesting bugs.. check them out. I am using a bottle with water and wik to create some more humidity. Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. A new journey has begun. A very special one since I am doing first photoperiod dependant strains and first time doing in coco. I decided to put four plants in the grow tent and to do main lining. It is going to be quite challenging because of all new techniques I’ll be using. Day 1: all four seeds sprouted nicely. I put them in small pots until they don’t grow and be ready for transplantation. I just watered them with a pH controlled water measured to 5.8.

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 9 May 18– 24 FLOWER 5 Nutrients : 3 gal GH Micro 20 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 15 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 15ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/23 PH 6.6, PPM 1570, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/24 pics & vid Since all 6 gals are getting frosty, I did some trichome pics. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. OK so update from last week I found out my soil is really off pH it could be 8 or 9 pH but I haven't got a soil meter to be sure. Anyway, obvious massive deficiency in ll kinds of nutrients because their roots can't soak up anything with such alkaline soil. I did think about reporting them and trimming their roots but it's too late in flower for that and I don't have the time. What I have done is I am using PK 13 14, Cal Mag and home made spray from organic waste mixed together as a foliar spray per guidelines. The one in the right is terrible she isn't taking it well at all I've had to remove 90% of her old leaves she looks like a skeleton but on the up side the new growth is green and happy so I'm just taking off the old as it shrivels. The one on the left is a tough mofo and sprung back after 2 foliar sprays (once a week) though I can definitely see a PK deficiency still. I am still hoping the one on the left will make it while the right one might bounce back but I won't get much from her. Anyway guys if you have any tips for what else I could do for my ladies to help it would be much appreciated!

Hello! What's up? Today was the last day, we ended week 13 with success! Barely gave them any water, try to keep it to a minimum so they dry 'faster'. Super happy with this strain, beautiful buds, smell, sticky af and quite dense too. Was watching them day and night, every day to make sure I'd cut them in the right day. Having a microscope is really handy for this point, allowing to harvest in the desired state. Now I'll prepare the room for harvest, remove the reflector, bulbs, etc, and flip the box to a 'drying station'. They look ready to go for me, and after the pictures I chopped them down, and have around 2kg before trimming. That's the most I ever got out of a grow at once. Super amazed. Thank you very much @weedseedsexpress for being part of the contest, was really fun and a pleasure to grow such strong strain!

It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍. The buds are getting thicker and thicker and already smell very good :-). The time has come when she no longer puts her strength into growth but into the flowers :-). It was poured 3 times this week with 1.2 l each time. When watering, there was 1 g of GHSC enhancer per liter of water as every 2 weeks 👍. Of course, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled. The complete filter system was also checked again. I filled the tank with fresh osmosis water for the coming week. I wish you all a nice week. Week 11 Day 71, i suffer a little bit of heat stress, temperatures where a bit high the past week, so leaves are a bit clawing and cupping on the main cola’s. They are still maturing tho. Day 72 ,Buds are becoming heavy, i found my plant and one of the 4 big buds is broken off the stem and lying on the floor. She was attached just a little bit , so i helped her up, and tied her down. I hope she will survive . I didn't make pictures, a had a little bit stress 🤣, also because i was busy it looked like every branch was collapsing, and i had to tie a lot of them. Hope for the best. i did try to make some close ups of the buds, also i try to picture the whole plant. The big bud in the end stares me right in the eyes when i'm standing up 😃 also one funny thing to mention is when i did shoot the video on day 71, i didn't notice that the bud on the right was all ready on the floor and missing, You can see the difference with the pictures from day 72. it is the bud on the far right. Day 75 finally my pistols are turning inside and i see calyx little bit swell up. My other plant did mature a lot faster and have already swollen calyx, it seems to take a lot longer but the buds are also way bigger. so i don't mind if that means i got more weight in the end. tomorow i will give a other pk boost, i think she is a heavy feeder.

7/29/2023 - Day 25 veg: still small for her age, but she is starting to pick up some speed. Between a watering issue, and the lack of nutrients in the starter soil, I think that is why I'm off to a slow start. Decided it's time to transplant. Chopped and dropped the earthbox last week, so she is ready to go. Hopefully, the transplant into the Earthbox will help speed up the growth. Overall she looks happy and healthy. For the transplant, I sprinkled Dynomyco on the roots, and watered in with Silica, Calmag, Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and some Fermented Comfrey Extract. Water had a 6.2 ph. 7/30/2023: just a quick update today. She took to the transplant great and is not showing any shock. 8/1/2023 - Day 28 veg: she finally looks like she is starting to grow faster. 8/2/2023: foiler fed with 5.8 ph water, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja 60, calmag, silica, BuildASoil Big 6, and Pure Protein Dry. 8/4/2023 - Day 31 Veg: watered with about .75 gallons of compost tea. The tea was made with BuildASoil BuildAFlower, Bat Guano, Seabird Guano, Neem Cake, and Molasses. Foiler fed with this as well.

Okay sooooo big big sighhhh! I’ve been dreading making this post so I’m sorry I’m behind 2 weeks. I had to go outta town for 8 days. I had everything set up for my brother to take care of the plants. It was a really hot week the week I was gone and these plants were taking a beating and started to get burnt from the heat! One plant died and I’m super sad about it. But we living and learning out here! I have tried to trim the dead leaves without taking too many fan leaves off so I don’t shock em more. All last week was surviving giving the plants a little over a gallon of water a day! Doing some of the nutrients every day but not all. I like to run water in Between the nutrients. But with coco coir I’m not too sure if it’s needed. “Learning over here” so ya thankfully it’s been cooling down and I’ve learned some new tricks to cool the tent off! I got a air water cooler that’s blowing cold air into the tent and my 6” duct sucking out hot air. Things are looking better! One more week with nutritions then a week of flush and Harvest is what I’m thinking. Any suggestions thoughts or ideas for me! I’d appreciate it!

What a long day, but I appear to have made it. I picked Gnomo specifically for its short size and fast flower time. She did not disappoint! Transplanted and she handled it very well. At transition, have her a bit too much microbes. But she quickly recovered, which I assumed she would. The transition top dress would be her only top dress. I got to boost her a few times, but then she was done. POOF! 😂😂 The slight burn made her a little rocky looking. But she turned out awesome buds! Very frosty looking and stacked!
