So after consideration of the density of the buds and my night humidity levels— decided to chop a week early. Buds are super dense. Concern for mold. Very leafy lady- with massive fans She’s 10% amber but still some white pistols on the lowers. Very easy to grow. Stayed on the shorter side with minimal stretch—which is appreciated. I love how the Plagron Green Sensation is nitrogen free! I used it from weeks 3-6. Super helpful as the leaves were getting a little curl— even with minimal nutes. Will have harvest report soon. As terps can change after dry/cure. Happy with the results of the Runtz and Plagron! 🏻💚

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. I needed a bigger reservoir, runoff catchment, and dehumidifier drain bucket because I had to go out of town for 5 days. Fortunately I calculated the volumes accurately and so when I got home I had at least another 24 hours of solution in the rez, and space in the runoff and dehumidifier catchment buckets. The other fortunate thing is that I came home to very happy and vigorously growing plants. The tallest colas are now 30 inches above the coco, and 20 inches from the light. There is one cola (pictured) whose stem is as thick as a sharpie! I ran out of the AN base nutrients and decided to switch over to GHE because the PH perfect buffers in the Advanced Nutrients line have been a huge pain in the ass. Also, I decided to mix my own bloom booster from Potassium Sulphate (0-0-53), Monopotassium Phosphate (0-52-34), and Epsom Salt after finding a DIY recipe (https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/diy-hammerhead-confusions.47992/) to achieve a (0-9-18) NPK ratio. Significantly cheaper, but will be interesting to see what the results are in the end. I will be doing one more heavy defoliation on day 21 of flower because there are so many fan leaves laying on top of each other that its hard to keep the humidity down. Stay tuned!

Brought to u by Mars Hydro SP3000 x2. Grow on Earth. Grow with Mars. All pics day 40. Welcome back. Mid/late flower now. Winding down nutes and teas and will feed to get the buds to ripen. Apex is frosting up nicely and her smell is popping, closest I can get to describing it is like cleaning products from a real fancy hotel…but lots of fan leaves are showing signs of deficiencies and/or lockout cuz she’s root bound really bad. Buds and sugar leaves aren’t affected, so far so good, I hope they stay that way 🤞 Gelato is fattening up real nice and has that distinct pungent aroma but not as strong as apex and not a lot of trichs. I hear this strain starts picking up in week 7+…although she’s root bound too but not as bad (I think). Lights are at 80%…they’re fricken beasts and way too much power for such a short, tiny tent. Next grow will be same strains, bigger final pots and will be in a new tent that is 6” (15cm) taller, every little bit helps :) That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by. Washed roots and transplant in to a bigger pot

This strain was a breeze to grow. The purple phenotype is hands down some of the best herb I have ever tried. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to grow a highly resilient, highly potent strain. Thank you to all those on this platform. its been a hot dry week but the girls have fared it well. mound design and soil content have helped keep moisture in the root ball of the plants. Hopefully we get some rain this week otherwise im going to be spending a day just watering them. fingers crossed for rain. We need a rain dance here.

Hoping this will be complete in next 2 to 3 weeks. Than have to cure. Lower leaves have issues. Top leaves look good. Day 50 increased nutes to max 1.2ml each per 500ml water. Ph6.6. Watered 250ml to see any damage tomo. Run off from soil ph came to 6.4. Day 51 watered 250ml from balance Day 52 watered 100ml watered with nutes ph6.6 Day 53 watered 200ml from balance and lowered lights to 45cm from 80cm. Hopefully more growth tomorrow 🙏
