Day 79 since seed touched soil. All is going to the end. Mars Hydro TSL2000 works nice, plants look good, needed way better positioning or scrog even, now all bottom half of plant is air with SPARKS, still coated like f@ck ;)))) Think will be strong strain. Want to push 10-14 days more, will see how all goes. Maybe i chop in a week ;)))) Day 83. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hi guys.. Here we are again with our two beloved Peyote Critical ... I will not dwell much today ... it is just now missing to reach an optimal flowering ... I believe that at most, in ten days, they are ready ... If one if you wish you could easily cut it now ... all milk-colored trichomes . Usually I always prefer to start the second phase (drying and treatment) when there they are 15% of amber trichomes ... The timing of the harvest sometimes varies based on various factors and / or above all on personal pleasures ...you know.. The plants are really beautiful and super resinous ... The perfume it is much more on the Kush side, quite even sweet with other "notes" that I do not recognize but tending to the "honey" side ..... Of the critical it has more than anything the structure and also the shape of the peaks .... however it is ... at the end of the week last time I gave them once again a bit of banana macerate, more or less always a 0.5 in a 1.5l bottle of water ... a few days later a little bit of Topmax .. now just water, like I practically did it throughout the cycle, since the nutrients were already present in the soil ... we hope for good ... let me know if you liked it ... The first week of vegetation is complete, and the plant is off to an okay start! After spending 5 days in the seedling station, I transplanted it into a 15L fabric pot, which will be its final home since it’s an autoflower.🌱 Initially, things weren’t perfect—the first set of leaves turned yellow, likely because I forgot to add coco to the area where I planted it.😅 However, the plant recovered quickly and is now bouncing back nicely! One hiccup was the time-lapse footage—it’s a bit shaky because the fan was directed at the plant, causing some wobble. Overall, I’m optimistic about the plant’s progress and looking forward to seeing how it develops in the coming weeks.🌱 (the plant in the little pot is my first phenotype Runtz muffin from barneys farm that i got gifted and i am getting the setup right now)

Not much happening yet but still she's looking good .

They seem to have stopped stretching and are now focusing on the buds. Very odd coloration happening on the leaves of the left plant. I'm thinking it's either a calcium deficiency or a manganese deficiency. Either way the buds are developing nicely still. Right is looking great right now, save for a few spider mites I had to squish earlier last week. Nice and frosty at 5th week of flower. If all goes well with both of these girls, I'll be harvesting them at the end of January. I'll definitely give them a bud washing b/c I found mites. Update 1/2/22: okay I've got a few notes to make on the progress as a whole. So after topping right, it seems like she started producing flowering hormones right after. While left focused on stretching for like a week more. Right has fat, compact and frosty buds- shaped like golf balls. Left has spire-shaped buds, not AS dense(still dense though, mind you), and less frost. So I'm thinking left is staggered behind right by about a week. Since this is week 5, we'll be able to tell just how far ahead she is by week 8.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Hey folks. Missed week 10 update due to mid terms. During that week I tip dressed again with 60/40 ratio of 444 to 284 ar 2tbps per gal. Finnaly had time this weekend to do a heavy defolation and start shaping up the plant along with watering. I starting to find mites and start of some mold. So I caught them at a good time. I will eventually spray them down with neem oil. See ya on the next update
