So far there has been a learning curve.. I am learning both bloom and veg light should be on and I DEFINITELY learned about "stretching". I added more potting soil and straightened them gently so that they can be supported. I will monitor the girls through the week to see what effects changing the light to both bloom and veg have. Fingers crossed! Will update later in the week. Update 10.24.21 Corrected the stretching/bending issue and the girls seem to be growing pretty quickly now 😎😁

Into week 5 of flower and it's time for a change out of the Nutrients and add some Fresh RO water and Power To Bloom followed 4 days later with some UMP. She is bouncing back just nicely and now takes on more feedings so running the RO water has been a daily task. She looks good and producing well.

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. Busy week behind the microscope. The tricomes look clear to me. She ain't ready as yet. Struggling with keeping tent cool due to heatwave and lack of a/c. Nutes solution reduced. Only had base and 4 additives. Later on in the week had another watering at .7 E.C . Flush started on day 50. Final runoff was in mid 500ppm. She's smelling lovely, absolutely lovely. She spent 48hrs in the dark and then chop day. A really lovely plant to grow. Absolutely no worries at all.

For the last month, I've been dealing with severe back issues. Not gonna lie, but it's been challenging to keep up with daily DWC chores. That aside, this particular girl recently had ph swings, so reservoir change end of week 6 flower. I also switched from Fox Farm to GH trio and supplementing with FF Chi Ching during week 5 and into week 6 w/ppm running at 750-780. With bucket change beginning week 7, I went with just the trio lowering ppm to 500-520 range. I'm gradually bringing ppm down right up until flush. She's finishing nice, which is all I can ask after having stressed her out the gate. She's recovered nicely, and the terpenes/aromas are just filling up the tent. I get the Hawaiian Punch profile references. She sticks are sweetness. Ethos genetics, so happy with first run of this breeders gear and happy w/results so far being this is my first attempt at DWC. is getting bigger and bigger, I made some toppings and continued with lst, out of curiosity I measured it, it occupies a space of 60x60cm impressive how fast it grows, this week I raised the ec to 2000, I think next week the I move 80x80cm to another box and make it bloom 🤩💪🏼

🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. Total en 24h: 18 luz 6 Oscuridad Uso un sustrato light mix de Atami. Le agregare trichodermas para mejor absorción de agua y nutrientes por parte de la planta.

Samstag leider über 30°C Im Zelt...🙄🙄 Nun ja, müssen die Damen leider durch, ne Klima kommt einfach nicht in Frage😏 Deshalb habe ich ja Purolyt getestet. Bisher schaun beide gut aus👍 So langsam sind die ersten Trichome sichtbar und sie fangen an leicht zu riechen. Die beiden bekommen morgen noch ihren Composttee, sonst passiert grade nicht viel. Hin und wieder werden ein paar Blätter entfernt. 🍀 Tag71 Beide haben jeweils 2l Composttee bekommen.
