This week went pretty well. She stretched another 8 inches and is up to 48" even though I am not feeding her any veg nutrients, and I am really hoping she is ready to chill out because I have the lights D-Ringed to the roof of the tent, I had to remove the pulleys from them because they took too much room. I also added another 100 watt Spider Farmer and a 150 watt mars hydro to the mix, so I am running 4 lights at 790 Watts total for this plant. I am between 65K and 75K lumens for the entire canopy, and i have 150 watts coming in from underneath the canopy. I am also struggling with the humidity in the tent, even though I am able to maintain 45% RH outside the tent, I am having trouble keeping the tent below 60% RH and it is due to all the transpiration from her leaves, as well as the high frequency fertigation that I deploy, although all the runoff is outside the tent within 90 seconds of feeding, so not much I can do about either one. I know it doesn't look like I am defoliating her, but I have a trash bag almost full just from this plant. I purchased a small dehumidifier for inside the tent and it will be arriving tomorrow, so hopefully that takes care of my issues, as I don't want any moldy colas. Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Sep 21: Bruce here is in third place for flowering pace but she should be close to done in time. Added some potassium sulphate to the water. Sep 26: buds are getting bigger but the cold weather is getting closer. Not many more days available.

So it’s been another week of just keeping an eye on the environment my temps are a little higher than I would have liked but keeping the balance with humidity so should be ok, there’s a little yellowing under the canopy pretty normal but a little early in my opinion so got that to watch and maybe up the nitrogen. All the bottoms were stripped some selective defoliating is due next week and one after

Finishing up. Buds are ripening, smells are loud. Ready to chop next week or 2 is my guess. Just water from here on out though Day 61- heavy fade and leaf curl on pbb1. Pbb2 showing a little fade and some brown spots. Pbb3 is yet to show any fade. CCis fading purple this time and looking and smelling the best. Stems just now starting to lean over on her. They all got 1 liter yesterday after 2 days. And a liter today got another liter, maybe the last water til harvest. Light at 60%.

3/1: water flush + a rather ballsy defoliation. This is one dense MFer. Bud sites are heavy and I suspect will need support. Even though she's got something going on with her leaves (likely light burn), she's a good producer.

Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- The plant is growing more leaves, but the flowering is getting weird, i dunno what is going to happen, im giving her like 16 hours, 6am-10pm. Weather is the worst i have ever seen in years, last year summer stayed until October, and now the counterpart haha, Nature things.. im letting the plant to decide what to do so, cause is in advanced flowering, gave her a bigger pot (25L) to manifest the fact that she has more soil avaliable. ------------- IRRIGATION------------- 2l, watering aprox each 2-3 days, when soils is dry. 1 of 2 irrigations with nutes, and the other with ph adjusted water. Week 2 Flower 09/04 Bllimburn Apple Fritter - Seedsman Critical +2.0 39 - 40inches - Increased Raw NPK feed ( Phosphorus - Potassium ) 2 teaspoons per gallon on each with Cal Mag, Flower Fuel and Floranova Bloom. Flowering processing accordingly. *End of week update 09/09* Both Apple Fritter and Critical are flowering accordingly. 3-4 Inch height increase Budsites looking healthy - No signs of deficiencies from nute feeds Main Colas were aggressively LST's to avoid light burn.

Day 57. Girls okeish except damaged leaves by thrips and by my sprays with most probably too much neem oil in it. Lady bugs all over plants, so i think i should beat problem easy till first heavy flowering training session... By book its 50 bugs vs one LadyBug a day, i imagine that they will start to starve like tomorrow latest ;))) Day 62. Yesterday got more help to fight thrips and ordered new variety of natural predators to keep on ... With such dense canopy fight is very hard, in smaller tent all is sorted, in this one i still see damaged leaves and sometimes thrips still .... Anyway, even with those issues they are really nice girls, will do heavy training on Tuesday or Wednesday ... Idea is to do hard defoliation and then introduce new army of predators, i will loose some during training 4 sure... I still see lady bugs and and i released larvae already, will give them 4 more days to get hungry ;))) Happy Growing !!!

8/10: Seeing great growth now..lots of branching. I actually fed them yesterday, but didn't update...several have popped some pistils and pretty much the rest are about to, and I'm out of bat guano, so I went ahead and gave them Open Sesame so they'd have more P available over the next several days. 8/11: I rearranged the garden a little. Moved all four #10's to the right side, the #4's are mostly in the middle...very branchy..the others, mostly to the left are the #2's and maybe a #3. The big plant on the lower left is an auto, as is the runt, and the plant at lower right. The "fern-looking" plant is actually a Jacaranda Tree (blue fern tree)...it's about to get kicked out... 8/12: I did a little training on some of the bushier #4's today. I don't have much space to work with, but I was able to do a little to encourage a race for apex dominance. There were enough pistils on them that I decided to switch the week to "Flowering." 8/13: I fed them today with ONE and added Open Sesame, Silica, Signal, and Sweet & Sticky. I sprayed them all with Axiom (Harpin proteins) and Boom Boom Spray right at dark. 8/14: BAM! They are poppin pistils left and right now...lotsa lovely little cotton tops.👍 8/15: Day 15 since the flip to 12/12..good progress. The #2's and #10's are stacking up and stretching pretty well and the #4's just keep bushing up.
