This week we encountered some problems and we lost a couple of days of growth. It was smooth sailing up to here and maybe a little too smooth. I saw that the buds didn't develop right after the previous post last week. After dropping a question and establishing possible reasons I did some interventions to let the plants recover. I raised the light which was real close and temps were too high. Next to that I watered with just some normal tapwater as I suspected some too low PH. I started ventilating more to disperse the heat a little. These actions seemed to have helped as last couple of days I see some real fattening of the buds. This SP-3000 is real powerful and cant be as close as my previous leds. Again props to Mars Hydro and a big thank you to @MarsHydroLED!! Let's hope we do the last couple of weeks with less stress for all of us! Sorry for not posting any Sunshine posts, I have a Christmas surprise in store for those enjoying the mixed reality shots. 2nd week of flowering and the girls are doing well.

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. Updates will be coming throughout the week!

Sep 21: fall is here and Cheese is looking great with nice fat buds and great purple colouring. Couple or three more weeks ideally, but it will likely be forced by weather. Sep 24: snow in forecast for late next week so it will be time to harvest soon. Likely four more days of good weather and they’ll it will be time.

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

Little bit of work this week but mostly an easy week watching the ladies grow and adjust to their new homes. On day 22 from Seed repotted the girls to their 2 gallon homes. I like to go from cups to 2 gal for veg then up to 5 gal for flower. Roots looked good and healthy already filling the cups well. Probably why they were needing water almost daily before transplant! Did the usual amendments (all purpose, basalt Rock, dia earth, and dynomyco) and living 50/50 new soil and reused soil from last grow. They all seemed to take it well, sad for a few days but I think I gave a bit too much water when transplanted. Now they're perking back up nicely. Late week did a Diatomaceous Earth treatment on top to keep bugs away. Will get the food out of tent this week and will be no more worries after that. Great week, plant hit it's stride and the time lapse shows it. Upping the EC to 1750 and letting her rip now. Should be seeing pistils soon.

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

She looks super heath and happy, I Supercroped her to get much more light penetracion and avoid a high height because I don't want her to be seen from the street,looks like a big green spider. Hello Diary. We have reached the 9th week, 6 weeks of flowering and I think we are nearing the end. My estimate is another week until harvest. I look the situation with trichomes every day, most of them are milky, when I notice that some brown ones appear here and there, it is time to harvest. Along with Sherbet Queen on the “Farm” are two Mimosa Auto, which have grown huge, over 110cm so it’s pretty crowded in the grow-box. That's why it became quite difficult for me to take them out of the grow box so as not to damage them. The color of the leaves slightly takes on a lighter green color which slowly becomes yellowish, the flowers are nicely filled, they are big and heavy so I had to connect the plant a bit to the stick and fabric pot to stabilize it and prevent the branches from cracking. The temperature was high this week, around 30 degrees, and this is caused by the great heat outside which was above average this week. Humidity is a little above 50%, which is more than would be ideal, the cause is also heat, so the soil evaporates more and releases moisture. I have two fans that blow for 24 hours and thus prevent the potential occurrence of mold or similar problems. Ventilation also works at maximum power. Watering is still every two days, and more or less that’s all that happened this week, I’m patiently waiting for the harvest. Here is a brief overview of the week. 11/07/2021 - Day 57. Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, p.H I adjusted to 6.4 and watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 50% humidity. 13/07/2021 - Day 59. Watering. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 55% humidity. 15/07/2021 - Day 61. Watering. p.H - 6.2 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 53% humidity. 17/07/2021 - Day 63. Watering and photography. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 60% humidity. That’s it for this week, a little more and there will be a harvest, I can’t wait for next week. Until then, enjoy.

I hope she’s done stretching because she’s back to being 8” from the light and I need to readjust the way I hung it if I will need to raise to it any further.. she’s drinking about 2 litres a day in total, thirsty bitch, will be increasing frequency to 3 feeds this week. Leaves look lovely, buds getting hairy, trichomes appearing. Now it’s just waiting for her to bulk up over the next month or so. I’m very proud of her structure. Not noticing a smell yet, growers nose, I know she smells. Pothead has taken to pruning very well. Working on her open cup structure, defoliating and getting fed with GP3 veg nutes. She’s a beautiful little mother and she’s enjoying hanging out with the family in the living room under a little qb. She’s exactly as I hoped she’d be. Very grateful this grow is working out for me. We did our crash course in experimenting and dialling in our grow last season and this grow is proving that we learned a lot and it was worthwhile.
