Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Plants are doing well, The 84" inch tent is a must if your not training or topping. I removed all the sacks that appeared last week and I haven't seen anymore show up so fingers cross, I check daily. Bigger tent also helps with heat control as the air has more room to rise. Hope you all like the pictures, I started to take videos as they provide more detail with less work.

Another week down a whole week of 12/12 and I won’t say she’s stretching yet, I would have thought ild see son pistols by now but no.i know she’s healthy the cutting I took only took two days to fully root A few new things to add to the list of nutrients, this week she’s had a heavy top dress. Reaper, soil candy, and barley to kick start bloom, grow plus to make sure she has enough to stretch properly and the knf. Which I’ve add fermented fruit juice to now for bloom, Fermented fruit juice - I’ve gone hard to ferment this properly since using shop bought fruits, Bananas for potassium, blackberries and blueberries because that’s how I imagine a moonberry would taste 😂 I know it’s no going to influence the terps but still LAB for microbes and jsm ( leaf mould and potato in water to collect microbes in the water) And finally molasses. This brew took about three weeks. The light stayed the same high flipped to 12 hours and turned up to 75%. She will stay there until the plant reaches 30cm from the light. I thinkkkkk that wraps this week up might be a bit boring from here on out work wise butttt will be exciting watching her blow up, till next week. Let’s get it 💪🏽

End of week 8! Took the girls off their nutes and starting the flush. Lowered the light intensity for 2 reasons. 1. It’s hot as balls and 90+ with no Silca could be an issue. They actually seem to be much happier already with only being a few degrees lower. 2. I want to see if less intense light/heat could replicate the end of the season sun if they were growing au natural 🤷‍♂️🏻

Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth.
