The time has come to pass for this super cool Red poison auto from Sweet seeds. The one bud beauty has been fun from the start. It took as much time trying to figure out what 16oz was in English and then actually find a 473ml cup, as it took this girl to germinate. I've mentioned before it was a picture entry from this this comp previous that drew me to grow diaries in the first place. (Yes I'm a bud slut, don't judge) Back to miss Red P, she has taken the usual beating of me forgetting to water and feed a few days, a neglect that all my plants enjoy at some stage of their lives. She started life in a converted shoe cupboard grow thing and ended her weeks in the main converted wardrobe where alongside the usual cheap LEDs she has had a few doses of the old UVB 10 reptile light. *Giving her a fantastic sugar looking crystal coating. My opinion through some research and personal experimentition* Although nuits problems showed in her leaves in the second half of her growing life and some forgeful watering, they produced some stunning, ever changing colours, which were ironically a nice change to see from the regular grows of green and would probably have been more concerned if it was happening to one of the other girls. The Purple to Red coloured main bud is bigger than the cup itself and weighs a ton. I had to put support in last week to hold her upright. Her leaves look fake and plastic as my wife commented, true too which makes for a nice look I've never seen before. perfect timing on the grow time although I could have harvested earlier to be fair but the bud just kept getting bigger and well, you know. .. As of writing I've not posted the root pics but will soon.. . Honest... I just like looking at her for now.. . Every now and then a quick admiring close up look at them buds..... I just don't want to part with her yet ok. give me time!

Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Day 15 I continued to have yellowing leaves even though I had everything looking right. (Added Pic). I decided to look into the PH to see if I was having issues with it. I have a meter in the water 100% of the time taking a reading every 1 sec. It all looked right. But I decided to Calibrate it in 4,7,10 solutions. Found out that my meter was off. So new to the check list is to calibrate the meter before each grow. I was thinking my PH was High, when in reality it was low. put in some PH up to get it back to 5.5 and over the last 16 hours things look pretty good. Leaves look darker. Day 17 Things are looking good. Leaves are getting darker and new growth coming in. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.70 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 953 Tank Temp 74.05 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites

The girls are really starting to fruit up, they have been on 10 scoops of flower food per week and this past week we added one scoop of flower finisher to the mix. Their feeding has been split into two days so as not to flood the plants with nutrients and burn the leaves. This means they still get their 10 scoops but in 5 scoop intervals. Watering has been every 2 days because of the 12/12 light schedule the soil doesn't dry out as quickly. The buds are getting massive on the White Widow plant, they are getting to be too heavy for the branches so I have begun to support the lower branches by tying them up to the main stem. I am using a plant wire so that as the plant moves and grows it isn't constricted. You can see the green supports in the newest pictures I uploaded. I also began thinning out the fan leaves so that all of the plants energy can be focused on the bud growth regions. I began removing the larger fan leaves that were blocking light to the bud regions. You can see how the plants are less bushy now. This should provide some low stress to the plants and boost bud production. Continued to thin out the fan leaves today. Made a lot of progress, now all of the bud sites should be receiving light. We also began a new fertilizer. I added a flower finisher into the mix with the Build A Bloom 2-10-5 flower food. Starting with just a 2 scoops mixed into the other flower food from pride lands. Cut down the pride lands scoops to 3 per serving to balance out with the new 2 scoops of flower food. This will keep me at 1 scoop per gallon of media per plant per week.

Very happy with progress so far. Very straightforward with the top dressing and watering in with tap water left out for chlorine evaporation and pH 6.5-6.8. Making nutrient additions weekly. Watering as needed. Thinking about when I want to begin LST.

Nothing foul. --- From what I understand the process is pretty simple: ------ Create the rice wash solution and let it sit for a few days to activate (white or brown rice). ------ Mix 1 part activated rice wash solution to 10 parts whole or raw milk. Then let it sit for a few more days for the lacto cultures to proliferate. ------ Once the milk separates into essentially curds and whey, strain out the curds and the extracted whey is the finished Lacto Serum. ------ This serum should remain shelf stable in the fridge for several months. ------ Alternatively, black strap unsulfured molasses can be added to the serum at 1 part molasses to 4 parts serum. Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

Continuando a preparare la sua forma finale. Purtroppo nella mia zona le temperature sono molto alte, circa intorno ai 34° ma per fortuna la Mango riesce a resistere un po. Attualmente la annaffio con 10L di acqua a settimana.

Visto que el agua de base sale con unos valores muy altos he decido obtar por mezclar el agua de riego con agua destilada mitad/mitad. De esta forma le podré aportar mayor cantidad de nutrientes sin que los valores suban excesivamente. Por otro lado también le añadiré ácido cítrico para bajar el PH. Os presento como voy regando, es un inventillo que hace años hice y sigue dando guerra. Va muy bién para repartir el agua y relentiza el riego haciendo que el agua vaya filtrando mejor por el sustrato. El embudo lleva una malla donde se quedan los restos más grandes y así no se atasquen los abujeros. Alguno dirá que pierde agua pero no es así, el agua que cae fuera es por que no tube punteria al llenar el emudo y casi lo tiro todo fuera. No se puede hacer tres cosas a la vez, soy hombre hehehe. no podia rellenar el embudo, regar y filmar con el movil al mismo tiempo. Y a más el video está reducido a cámara rápida por lo que parece que pierda aun más rápido.
