Great strain iv grown it i think 3 or 4 times trained differnt every time 2 diaries of it and i love this strain rock hard heavy buds with tons of trics leaves started purpling but ph got too out of wack at the end at allmost 8 and still living. buds i think could have gotten fatter if corrected earlier but broke my meter but atill impressed the way it reaponded to how many times i topped it ending with around 46 bud sites lol thanks original sensible for another smooth grow in the books

Tag 14 Die erste Woche der Keimung war… sagen wir mal, eine echte Herausforderung. Und auch in die zweite Woche starten wir mit einigen Schwierigkeiten. Der pH-Wert im Gießwasser tanzt immer noch Tango und will sich einfach nicht stabilisieren lassen. Alle sechs Stunden muss ich ran und nachjustieren – ganz schön zeitaufwendig! Auch die Temperaturen sind noch ein Thema. 27 Grad sind einfach zu hoch, und da die kleinen Pflänzchen noch keine schattenspendenden Blätter haben, heizt es ordentlich auf. Ich habe mir aber mit Kühlpacks beholfen und das Gießwasser auf angenehme 22 Grad runtergekühlt. Hoffentlich mögen das die Wurzeln! Immerhin: Die Wurzelbildung scheint gut voranzugehen, jede Pflanze hat jetzt schon ein kleines Wurzelnetz entwickelt. Um jeder Pflanze die besten Startbedingungen zu geben, habe ich ihnen jetzt jeweils ein eigenes Licht spendiert. So kann ich die optimalen Werte für jede einzelne einstellen. Ob das alles so klappt, wie ich es mir vorstelle, wird sich in den nächsten Wochen zeigen. Aber wir starten optimistisch in Tag 14! Was steht heute auf dem Plan? Ich werde die pH-Werte im Auge behalten und schauen, ob die Kühlpacks die Wassertemperatur stabil halten können. Außerdem werde ich die kleinen Pflanzen genau beobachten, ob es ihnen gut geht. Had some recent troubles. Overwatered once, then it dried out a little much. Also found out I got nutrient burn, so defoliated what I had to. Used half recommended dose and still had burn. Won’t be feeding for another week.

Everything seems to be going great for them to all be random bag seeds! Temp is staying a little higher than I would like trying to figure out some ways to cool it down may just order some new lights!

i was thinking about harvesting half and letting the bottom half finish but after chopping some of it i just ended up taking it all down. i knew i wouldnt get a crazy amount of weight from the early mess ups but im guessing it will be about 2 oz when dried. im happy with anything thats smokeable for a first time grower tho and i cant wait to get started on 2 more ladies :D im thinking maybe do the purple punch but this time use a 5 gallon pot so i can see her at her best ! the roots were sure cramped in this 2gallon lol. thanks for reading and following my journey :D

Week 18 december - 24 december 17 december - rega

These 8 plants had a vegetative period of 3 months and grown organically, these ladies had a lot of training and came out beautifully except 1 plant which was both over and under watered. I don't seem to understand why these plants are not smelly at all literally there is no smell, not while in vegetative stage and nor in flowering, don't know is this a bad or good thing while trichomes are clearly visible at day 7 of flowering.

8/10 - In prep for flower I've got some Compost Tea brewing with a little Terp Tea Bloom by Roots Organics. .Also did a little selective defoliation 8/11 - Flipped the ladies to flower today! And all is good in the 8x4. 8/12 - Watered all the ladies with the Compost/Terp Tea. Also did some more defoliation and added some mosquito bits for added pest prevention.

Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

Well, time to start flowering. the plant occupies almost the entire pot. width is 32cm. yesterday switched the light mode to 12/12. in 8 weeks we will harvest. I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊
