Day 50 the plant has been growing at an incredible speed and has a very very large flowering stretch in fact I only have left 5 inches to raise up my light and then I'm going to have to do something to keep an eye on those branches so they don't stretch anymore or at least they can have enough light to proper development. From all the plants I have grow indoors this one is the only one that has make my light stretched to the top of the tent I guess it's a good problem to have. Other than the incredible stretch the plan seems to be healthy and doing pretty well the flower is development and I'm looking forward to see how this is going to turn out. Day 52 I have rise my light to the top as high as I can and she still grow past the light towards the exhaust system I had to tie her down in order to create an arch and in that way make her receive enough light instead of growing over the top of the light where there is actually no sufficient light if this problem persist I will have no choice but to do super cropping on the tallest branches and see how they react to that I decide to take some cuttings I'm trying to clone this one to see if I can get her outside in the summer in another buddy house and see how she reacts to challenging Ontario weather. Day 53 I have to Super crop several branches Unfortunately they were growing straight into the light becoming burned by the intense light I hope the plant doesn't react to bad to HST and still deliver awesome buds thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

July 20 - day 41 - week 2 flowering

01/27/25. Welcome to the start of week 4. I was hoping for a better week with this girl and I got it. Woohoo. She was paling and starting to look a bit sad and droopy. Her first true leaves have yellowed quite a bit, but I upped her food and the rest of her has darkened up, and she’s perky and not sad :). Shes beautiful. 😻😻 I think slightly warmer temperatures have also pleased her as well. She grown quite a bit since last update. She’s now one of the biggest girls. Shes currently at 4 nodes and I will top her when she hits 5. She was just watered yesterday, slowly, until a bit of run off. I’ve upped her food to 2.5 across 3 parts, as well as upped calmag (1) and silica (2). I pulled a dip shit move and left my measuring tape in the flower tent and it’s lights off, so I’ll have to come back tomorrow to update that. I doubt she’s much different than last measurement though honestly. Update: 01/29/25- updated measurement and watered with food. 01/31/25- topped and added picture/video. Soils still a bit moist, anticipate plain watering tomorrow. Thanks for lookin. ✌️

Day 3 of flower & these ladies are stretching great! We are having a bit of a calmag Deficiency right now but currently in the process of trying to fix it so hopefully they bounce back! The Gelato OG from seedsman is a monster to only be 42 days old not sure if I just got a good pheno or what happened but compared to the other gelato beside it from the same bag it looks like a completely different plant! Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. The Skunk Apple Run plant is still tiny, unfortunately. It's got a serious problem with its leaves – almost all of them are burnt. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I'm going to have to figure it out before it's too late. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

I've started this week with a heavier defoliation. Not sure it's worth it but I want to try it anyway, might as well make experience. I want to take a break from defoliation though, she's still my first plant so I really don't want to overstress or damage her. Pistils are getting bigger and I can't wait to see the bud! Watching carefully the flowers development as I've never seen that before. Hoping in some final stretch. End of the week: she stretched almost 10 cm in four days. I love this plant. I also rised the EC to 1.7. Still waiting before switching to Canna Flora nutrients. She's beautiful and bushy, I definitely need to slow down with those little frequent defoliations tho. Don't want to stunt her growth, especially now.

I am watering them a bit more than 1L f water every 2 days and allways adding nutrients, I give them Fast food + Shogun + Auto Stimulator + Calmag and 2 days after bio-bloombastic + calmag. Once every two weeks I also add bloombastic in both feedings since it is a low PK (1312, funny number though 👊😋) due to its organic procedence. The LSDs are the taller plants in the back and in the right wall of the grow tent and the ones in the center are blueberrys Overall I am very happy, LSDs are getting really mean main colas and it seems to me that they are not going to be ready this week, which is not what Barneys said but is better for me in order to get a greater harvest, and to be honest, me being a first time grower might have also played a role on the process lasting a little longer since I slightly overfed them the first week of flowering. I must also say that this is an exceptional genetic, I mean they are sooo sticky and have such a nice smell that I am crazy to try them once I finish. Also, I am going to try and get a narchotic effect on these LSDs by harvesting them when all the trichomes turn brown after a 5 day root washing
