2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Smokers who appreciate a very strong and uplifting Sativa high will be more than satisfied with the effects. One will experience feelings of euphoria that are definitely intense and uplifting, typical for a South African Sativa like this. *****Week 15 growth – March 13 to 19, 2021 – Week 6 flower ****** Feeding has ended this week and we are in flush mode now. The girls have just started to slow down their drinking and pistols are changing colour, buds are swelling, they are getting ready to finish. Added the UV and IR light bars in this week. Started the week with just one bar and then both in place by end of week. Each bar has 10 x 730nm, 10 x 395nm, 6 x 660nm pulling 30 watts each. Trichome enhancers!! Working with the new light this run I have certainly pushed them with more light intensity than they should have received, broke 1100 PAR for a bit. This has also started to cause some foxtails to begin rather than staying compact and swelling the buds. Know for next time……always changes to make 😊 Little more detail….. Mar 13/21, Day 36 - Feed day with full line of Innovating Plant Products but at ¾ strength. - Keeping up the feeding but thinking about nitrogen levels and working on reducing. - feeding with grow – 0.5, micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 0.75, B Storm – 2, S Storm – 3, Terp – 3, Jet Fuel – 1.5, Rezin 1 - 1300ppm and 6.2pH - GSCHB – 3L - Added in the first UV bar today Mar 14/21, Day 37 - Seeing lots of swelling these days from the girls. - Microbe feeding today…….possibly last round of microbes. - Plain tap water with Recharge @ ½ tsp/gal and Natures Candy @ 1.5ml - 400ppm and 6.1pH - 3L all around today…..very little run off. Mar 15/21, Day 38 - Another feed day today. Last week of feed so pushing them a little more. No Grow added! Last couple of feeds with CalMag as well, seeing some magnesium issues so giving last dose. - feeding with micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 1, B Storm – 2.5, S Storm – 3, Terp – 3, Jet Fuel – 1.5, MagNifiCal – 1.5ml - 1175ppm and 6.0pH - GSCHB – 3L Mar 16/21, Day 39 - Just giving the basic building blocks at this stage. Most of the supplements not added this feeding. - feeding with Grow – 0.5, micro – 1.5, bloom – 2, carbs – 1, Rezin – 1.5ml, MagNifiCal – 0.5ml - 875ppm and 6.0pH - GSCHB – 2.5L Mar 17/21, Day 40 - Last Feed Day……calling it at day 40 this run!!!!! - 4L of feed water left from yesterday so added in 12L of RO water to keep the ppm down. - Left over plus Rezin @ 2ml, Overdrive @ 2ml (its hard to let go of your routines…I have been using Overdrive for so long……it feels wrong to not be using it this run….snuck in a couple ml😊) - 485ppm and 6.0pH – GSCHB - 2.5L - Light power pushed back up to 525 watts……..keeping the intensity up to hit the lower bud sites….will see what happens to the uppers. Mar 18/21, Day 41 - Starting flush but not hitting the pots with 12 gallons of water each type of flush! Will just drop the ppm down to nothing and use RO water……planning on having close to 3 weeks to flush….second guessing that I really have that long though so may actually end up adding a flushing agent to the girls…..decide in the next 4 days so can leave plain water time if I do. - Watering with Enzymes @ 2ml…….clean up the roots and help them get more of the ppm out of the media. - 100ppm and 5.9pH……..missed the pH but not adding both up and down, ran with this. - GSCHB - 3L - Light power pulled back down 480 watts Mar 19/21, Day 42 - Dry out day today. Will be letting the pots get dryer now before adding more moisture. - Leaving them for today though. Give flushing agent in next 2 days if going to. - Work down the light intensity more in next couple of days as well. - UV lights going now for 3 hours per day on both fixtures at the middle of the light schedule.

Starting to show some class

114 Days left as of 11/6. Disclaimer: 56 days left to veg. Which ever plant is 3 ft or taller in 56 days will be flipped. In 1 week, I will be transplanting into 3 gallon containers that leaves 49 days. When there are 2 weeks left, I choose which ones go into the 5 gallon containers for flowering. After the transplant recovery, I do heavy defoliation and lollipopping. Wait 1 week to recover, and flip time…..Which just so happens to be: New Years!!! This week ( and past few days) has been on target. I am seeing growth everyday I open the tent. I don’t know why, but the first 2 weeks of my grows move super slow. Then in week 3-4, it’s like a rocket ship. 11-11 (51 days left) - kicking some ass now. 2 of the RuntZ might make it, the Hulk-Berry is def going to make it pretty close to 3 ft tall. Hulkberry has 21 days to be transplanted, RuntZ will be transplanted in 14 days.

entramos en su segunda semana de cambio de ciclo, hoy hemos tuteados los bajos de las 3 frontales, si pereza no mover las otras, pero asi aprobecho y miro que tal me van sin tocarlas asta el dia 21, a las 3 primeras he limpiado un pocos los bajos, y estamos con la tabla biobiiz, ha casi como toca, con ec de 0.8 y ph en 6. bio-grow, top, bio-bloom-max, acti-vera 🙂

Harvest day for super lemon haze, fuck yeah!! This strain with 50% the nute dosage levels, did amazing compared to previous SLH grows. Bigger, denser buds, just less lemon citrus smell. I'll update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke test. Thanks you for following this grow, I hope you liked it 👽🌳💚 Nov 15 - dry weight of 76 grams, minus a gram for test smoke. This little plant did pretty well for being a runt that struggled to grow in size since she was cut as a clone and rooted. Running at 50% nutes levels, I feel, was a good thing. The smoke is smooth, with a light lemon citrus taste and smell. It burns well, evenly throughout the joint and has a nice ash (medium gray/white). Still my favorite strain and I will grow again!

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! 12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are looking good and on schedule for a couple of changes. Nutrients: 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) PH: the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work - starting at a PH of around 7.6 - 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. Lights: The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights were increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Both plants are taking nicely to the adjustments and I am happy with the progress. Temp and humidity are stable and PH is controlled. Day 11 - The second nodes are clearly visible today for both Chong and Max which would hopefully put them at 3 nodes by the end of the week - right on schedule! Day 13 - The ladies seem to be showing some signs of heat stress, so thinking about adjusting the lights after their period of dark today because they are due to be adjusted tomorrow anyway for the new week of veg
