Vegetation Phase - Week 2 Shoutout to Cannapot, the Austrian plug who came through with the genetics from Humboldt Seed Company. The 10 Donutz plants are pushing through their second week of veg, and while the majority are thriving, a few challenges are starting to show — all part of the game when experimenting with new soil, pots, and nutrients. Updates & Adjustments: Lamp Adjustment: Raised the light to reduce stress and give the plants more breathing room as they stretch and develop. Watering: Keeping it relaxed and minimal with reverse osmosis (RO) water. No overwatering here — slow and steady wins the race. Nutrients: If deficiency will further ill add more fertilizer. Observations: 9/10 plants are growing steadily, with vibrant green leaves and visible progress in height and structure. 1 runt: One plant is struggling hard — stunted growth, ugly leaves, and generally looking like it’s fighting for its life. Still, it’s got a spot in the tent, and we’ll see if it can bounce back. Some minor issues spotted on a few plants, likely nutrient deficiencies as they adjust to the new setup. It’s not surprising, given the new gear and methods, but nothing alarming yet. Next Steps: Staying the course with low-stress management. Let the plants adjust to their environment and dial in any issues over time. The Donutz are strong genetics, so they’ll likely power through. Even the sickly one gets a chance — no plant left behind! This sea is still on track to make waves.

The indoor plants are developing a mobile nutrient deficiency(newer growth is pulling from older leaves)in the lower leaves. Nutrients are being locked out(too much of one nutrient is locking out the others in the soil, or temperatures are too cold in the soil) or they are being tied up in solution whenever I mix the lotus nutrients(I’m adding bloom and boost into the same gallon, so maybe the chemicals are reacting with each other and becoming unavailable to the plant). On top of my nutrient dilemma, fungus gnats have found their way to my moist soil and are being a nuisance. From what I found they’re surviving off of my woody material in the soil and will soon try to establish it as a home so I’ve got to go get some IPM. Outdoors is vibing with the pest pressure so I’ll continue to let it do it’s thing.

Loving this week! A week of healing and growth. Topped some side branches on the og kush plant in middle. I’m still stumped if I should top again? Or just let me veg for a few more weeks??? Using water in between nutritions. Made a mistake with one of the plants tied down. I loved the other pot it was tied too and almost ripped the plant in half! Oh man!! But she’s tapped and I’m recovery now! Super excited for the growth and learning! Loving how things are! Topped & Sun-Kissed ☀️✂️ This week, I finally made the call—she’s been topped! 🌿 After a bit of back and forth, I decided it was time to give her structure a little boost and open things up to more sunlight. The side shoots are now reaching out confidently, soaking up every bit of that warm summer glow. ☀️ She’s had a golden week of sunshine and handled it like a champ—strong, vibrant growth and no signs of stress post-topping. 💪 Here’s what went into her care routine this week: 🔸 Fed with BioBizz Grow, CalMag and Alg-a-Mic 🔸 Followed by some homebrewed compost tea two days later for that microbial boost 🔸 Two days after that, a fresh round of Effective Microorganisms to enrich the soil life 🔸 And every 3 days, a light misting of silica spray to keep her leaves strong and resilient I’m super happy with how she’s shaping up so far—great energy, lush color, and the new growth is coming in fast. Curious to see how she responds to the topping in the next week!

- Not much activity happening on my part just watering as usual 4L every 2/3 days. - The plants however are getting fatter by the day truly amazing how things are going! The plants are in heaven!!

Alright! So she's officially been back on track for quite a while now. She seems to have actually started bud development! So we can officially consider this week 1 of flower. Haven't defoliated her quite yet, but I will later today. So far I've just been training her by bending and supercropping here and there. I've been feeding her nutes twice a week by this point, with a water in between. Not quite at the 1/4gal. per day point. I sense that'll be somewhere between weeks 2, and 3 of flower. She's up to 9-fingered leaves which means, everything's going smooooth as can be. Cheers, and bless you and your garden! 🙌

Day 126. Really day 90 from seed, part of Control Garden. Amazing how they Bulk, 3 weeks of veg only, crazy strain ! If i ever wanted anything from this strain, she was like "Let's do it ! " 8 sisters were amazing, now i used last two biggest beans and those had no training, no light, nothing, but went into absolute overdrive smells amazing, branches hard to hold while trimming ... Love them, maybe this time taste will be better, different nutes used ... Its so funny to hear branches slowly bending and cracking under own weight with no support left ... Amazing sound for grower ;)) Control Garden is an absolute success even with Strawberries hermie part .. Cure day. 250 g total. Insane for 3 weeks veg, one cola lost to budrot, no direct light and early harvest which led to a bit airy Monster Bulk buds, she could make 150 easy without budrot and one more week of flower ... Will update on night shift ;) Day Unknown. Decided to try out finally last girls for diary records, but ... After a month of intense cure buds got angly/pyramid type forms ... ????? Any idea ? First two weeks moved at least twice a day.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. hi growmies, this one is really bulking hard. taking over most of the box. she doesn't smell like a typical afghan anymore, very creamy. still amazing what you can do to these plants and they still recover from it. The buds on this one seemed very fluffy at the beginning, however this has starting to change know and they start swelling very nicely.

What a world of difference a week can make when growing auto-flowers. I did a lot of maintenance on these girls the last couple of days. See pics and videos. Two of the plants have stretched out nicely. The other three are falling behind, but looking very nice. There is a strong citrus smell happening right now. Smells like I have a tent full of fresh lemons. Started using Big Bud and Bud Candy this past week. Tent 2as getting quite crowded, so I also moved the water reservoir on the outside of the tent. It was very hard to cut a lot of those beautiful buds off the plants, but I think it will pay off. I also got the new Vivosun Grow Cams, so far I like them, but I do have some feed back.

After 85 days of growing I havest. Plant hung up whole to dry. 5 days later by 21°C/ 45% r.h. It's trimming time.

Just finishing week 4. Damn fungus gnats got me down. Laying some mosquito dunk water on them and expect / hope to have that eradicated soon. Going to do my second leaf stripping in first day or two and a second top dressing, which I do every two weeks up to week 5 or 6.
